It is the one defense that Harvey Weinstein did not argue in his recent trial: I was just working out my stress. The new documentary on Hillary Clinton has been panned by many as yet another attempt to rewrite history for the Clintons. However, few expected Bill Clinton to come up with yet another explanation for the affair that led to his impeachment. Clinton explained in an interview that it was all an effort “manage my anxieties.” The problem is that his anxiety management included committing perjury as well as recently disclosed alleged witness tampering. He was of course never charged with perjury despite a court later saying that he clearly lied under oath. Of course, he would never lie to Hulu.
Clinton added that that he thought “there’s something that will take your mind off it for a while.” Of course, he also omits a long list of women who have accused him of sexual harassment, sexual assault, and rape as both Arkansas Governor and as President. That goes back decades and, with each woman, the Clintons crushed the accusers, including Hillary Clinton referring to them as “bimbos.”
None of that was apparently relevant in this “documentary” which seems like four-hour exploration of historical revisionism.
However, it must be a great anxiety reliever.
Well, as a treatment for anxiety, at least it doesn’t require a prescription as do the anti-anxiety products from big pharma! (Depending on who one is doing it with and their past history, though, one might need a different type of prescription afterwards! I wonder if ol’ Bill ever did?)
I only wish that SOMEone would explain to me just why do the Clinton’s always get a pass? They are despicable.
What makes them despicable is the way they are always blaming their victims. Then they take any and all actions to destroy their accusers – not to mention how many have disappeared.
The Clinton’s, as with all arrogant, egotistical leftist Neo-liberals, it’s ALWAYS someone else’s fault. It must be amazing to be a Leftist, never doing anything wrong!

Many of us vividly remember 1998, when Bill Clinton shook his finger at Americans while earnestly declaiming, “I didn’t have sexual relations with that woman” (commonly remembered as, “I did not have sex with that woman”). That statement was a lie. Although stopping short of actual sexual intercourse, Bill Clinton had all sorts of sexual relations with the much-younger Monica Lewinsky. It was inexcusably sordid and, worse, Clinton used the Oval Office for these escapades.
Twenty-two years later, Bill is finally explaining what drove him to defile the Oval Office in this way, and his explanation is a doozy: He was stressed.
Bill Clinton claims that his affair with Monica Lewinsky was one of the ‘things I did to manage my anxieties’.
The former President suggests, in an explosive documentary seen by DailyMailTV, that he had the fling with the ex-White House intern while he was in office because it helped with his own issues.
Bill reveals that at the time he met Lewinsky the pressure of the job made him feel like a boxer who had done 30 rounds and he looked at Lewinsky as ‘something that will take your mind off it for a while’.

‘Because there, whatever life – not just me. Everybody’s life has pressures and disappointments, terrors, fears of whatever.
‘Things I did to manage my anxieties for years. I’m a different, totally different person than I was, a lot of that stuff 20 years ago,’ he said.
Bill did not explain exactly what he was referring to, but Pulitzer-prize winning journalist Lucinda Franks has claimed that in 1999 Hillary told her Bill confessed that his mother abused him as a boy and caused him to become a sex addict.
That last paragraph is way too much information. Also, talk about a dehumanizing way to refer to a young woman whose life he destroyed. Lewinsky was “something that will take [his] mind off” of work for a while. While Lewinsky thought she had a relationship, Clinton thought he had a compliant human substitute for a Valium.
Bill and Hillary also talk in the documentary about the way he lied to Hillary and then finally told her the truth, and the difficult task of telling eighteen-year-old Chelsea what had happened. The bit about telling Chelsea rings true.
It’s all so terribly sordid. One can only be grateful that Bill Clinton didn’t get another chance, in 2016, to live in the White House.

Hulu agreed to stream this hagiography of Hillary Clinton because of the allegedly immense footage the Clintons had of Mr. Clinton’s Presidential terms and Mrs. Clinton’s two failed attempts to gain that office. I have not seen it, nor will I. Hulu just joined Netflix on a short list of Websites I’ll never use nor visit again.
I find it curious that the Federal Elections Commission obsesses on relatively small improprieties such as Dinesh D’Souza’s transfer of campaign funds to a friend’s Congressional campaign (for which he served time) while overlooking massive donations of airtime in highly political programming by Big Media and comparatively huge shuttling of campaign funds in improper ways by leftist politicians..

It’s not a contest but why is no one talking about Bush & Cheney? In early 2001, about 6 months before 9/11. Qwest CEO Joseph Nacchio claimed he was coerced by the Bush DOJ to perform warrantless wiretapping (a felony). We were not at war during this time. Nacchio claims he refused to be an accessory to the Bush felonies and was then sent to prison for a few years. After release from prison, Nacchio still claimed he was sent to prison for not participating in the Bush felony scheme. Reminder: FISA [Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act] is the “exclusive” legal path (One and only legal path) a president can follow. FISA is a Nixon era reform to prevent felony warrantless wiretapping. Although there is no “terrorism-exemption” to the U.S. Constitution (a wartime governing charter), this alleged pattern of felonies was about 6 months before 9/11. To my knowledge, no FBI or DOJ leaders was interested in enforcing the laws back then. Why do the Bush guys get left out of these things?
