“Blood On The President’s Hands”: Chuck Todd Again Criticized For Biased Attack On Trump

We have previously discussed how NBC News anchor Chuck Todd uses questions to express extreme condemnations of President Donald Trump and his supporters. While Todd realizes that he would be fired for saying outright that Trump supporters “just want to be lied to,” he can make the same point by asking another person if they “just want to be lied to.” Todd returned to his feigned neutrality in asking presidential candidate Joe Biden if “there is blood on the president’s hands.” Not to be undone, Speaker Nancy Pelosi has declared that “as the president fiddles, people are dying.” At least Pelosi had the integrity to make the statement outright.

During the interview with Biden, Todd asked “Do you think there is blood on the president’s hands considering the slow response? Or is that too harsh of a criticism?”

Even Biden had to balk and say that it was “a little too harsh.”

Todd has a reputation for using others to make such biased attacks. In addition to Trump, he has been roundly condemned for his bias against Bernie Sanders. As with his earlier comment on Trump supporters, he was criticized previously to quoting someone else to say that were part of a  “digital brownshirt brigade.”

For Trump and Sanders supporters, Todd’s record further erodes their faith in the media. The bias shown in these interviews is clearly supported by the network. It would be better to have hosts drop the pretense of such quotations or questions to ask least be open about the agenda or bias with viewers.

  1. OT: The left lies through comission and omission on a continuous basis and the media follows suit. However when the facts are released one can see the truth but that is seldom published by the MSM.

    1. Anonymous the Stupid is trying to create an excuse behind all his posting, but in reality he was fighting the Center and not what the Center said that was true.

The terminology Sewer Rat is good because I have to go down into the Sewers to flush out the Stupid and the Brainless.

Why are you spending so much time on the blog? …And so many posts.

    1. The sewer rat “Allan”Howard A. Zucker, M.D., J.D. LL.M.
Commissioner of Health, New York Stat obsessed with Natacha and someone he calls “Anonymous the Stupid.”

      1. Strike the comment at 10:38 and replace it with the one at 10:40.

Howard Zucker is not Allan and doesn’t have any relationship to Allan, AFAIK. He’s NY’s Commissioner of Heath — or at least he used to be.

Allan is still a sewer rat. His is a lifetime appointment, so to speak.

            1. The Brainless Wonder originally thought I was Commissioner of Health for N.Y. That is clueless.

You are racking up those postings again.

      2. I can’t figure out what Anonymous the Stupid is saying above. Is Anonymous the Stupid giving me a promotion? At least Natasha asked for proof and I provided it.

    2. The sewer rat “Allan” — obsessed with Natacha, someone he calls Anonymous the Stupid, and “the left:” — is flapping his gums again.

      1. I challenge Anonymous and Allan to confine remarks to relevant subjects and go easy on the bickering.

        -Anonymous

        1. OK Brainless Wonder you are closer to Anonymous the Stupid than I so suggest it to him. I posted a relavant remark and look what it started.

      2. OK OK The Brainless Wonder is upset that Anonymous the Stupid is getting all the attention, Now things should be straightened out and Natasha has been provided the source she desired.

Boy are you racking up the numbers in such a short time.

  2. MMM selling masks to foreigners. Arrest, try, and after due process, Hang the executives who imperil Americans at this time of crisis! Don’t give them a bailout!

Get out from under any party politics tomfoolery now folks. National unity is the solution. Party politics is the bane of every national emergency.

  3. Questions About Accuracy of Coronavirus Tests Sow Worry:
Experts believe nearly one in three infected patients are nevertheless getting negative test results

    https://www.wsj.com/articles/questions-about-accuracy-of-coronavirus-tests-sow-worry-11585836001

Several of my colleagues and I have been discussing our belief that the current SARS-CoV-19 tests are unreliable. While some in the West have demanding tests now, believing not deploying them earlier led to the current growth in cases and death, the science says otherwise. The specificity and sensitivity are debatable for the current tests, the prevalence unknown and the window timeframe to test for antibodies is not established.

Sensitivity refers to the ability of a test to detect a disease when present. Specificity must be greater than 95% to instill confidence.

Specificity refers to the ability of a test to indicate non-disease when no disease is present. 95% is also the bar to reach

Prevalence is the number of persons in a defined population who have a specified disease or condition at a given point in time, usually the time when a survey is conducted

Window of time to test for Antibodies:
There is a significant window of time during which a disease is detectable via antibodies. HIV Antibody tests have a window of time of 6 weeks to 3 months, and in some patients 6 months. Consequently HIV Antibody test results are never diagnostic of having HIV. Nor should the current SARS-CoV-19 Antibody tests.

The science is being ignored in the interest of political scores

  4. The sequence of the time line of utmost importance. Our globalists IMO rely on WHO. WHO relied on China who was hiding information. Starting Jan 14 there are now 18 days before the official China Traveller ban which was bashed by Democrats.

    January 14
WHO repeats CCP line that there’s no evidence of human-to-human transmission. World Health Organization sends out message – without questioning the credibility of the source, that “Preliminary investigations conducted by the Chinese authorities have found no evidence of human-to-human transmission of the novel #coronavirus (2019-nCoV) identified in #Wuhan, #China.”

(That is WHO. WHO is supposedly the definitive source on pandemics for the world. People should have a bit more knowledge about WHO, what was said and when. Too many lack that knowledge.)

    January 15
Wuhan Virus spreads to US. CCP’s failure to respond promptly permits Wuhan virus carriers to travel worldwide. First virus carrier arrives in United States from Wuhan and undergoes treatment in Washington state, which becomes site of the greatest concentration of Wuhan Virus deaths in the US.

    January 16
Wuhan officials say health crisis is over, and encourage large public gatherings. Wuhan residents go to a government sponsored fair, citing government statements that the health crisis is over.

CCP officials encouraged hundreds of millions of people to travel over previous month. Mid-December 2019 to mid-January 2020 “was a time when Chinese officials were beginning to grasp the threat of a new contagious disease in Wuhan but did little to inform the public — even with the approach of the Lunar New Year holiday for which hundreds of millions of Chinese travel,” the Washington Postwould report.

    January 17
US starts implementing airport health entry screening for virus ‘exported’ from Wuhan. The Centers for Disease Control announces implementation of “enhanced health screenings to detect ill travelers traveling to the United States on direct or connecting flights from Wuhan, China. This activity is in response to an outbreak in China caused by a novel (new) coronavirus (2019 nCoV), with exported cases to Thailand and Japan.”

“Based on current information, the risk form 2019-nCoV to the American public is currently deemed to be low. Nevertheless, CDC is taking proactive preparedness precautions.”

    January 26
Anthony Fauci says in a radio interview that the American people shouldn’t worry about the coronavirus. “It’s a very, very low risk to the United States,”

7 days before the Chinese Traveller Ban. The left calls that ban racist, stupid, xenophobic etc.

Those that listen to leftist propaganda and believed the WHO criticized Trump’s actions. The CDC 7 days before called it a low risk yet Trump acted and the left acted like fools.

    1. I haven’t had much time today so though I will respond to some of the naive postings and insults I thought the Anons, Paulie in particular (who doesn’t get his dates straight) and Anonymous the Stupid would benefit. Anonymous the Stupid won’t benefit from any information because he lacks the intellect but I wanted to write something to get him out of the bathroom and start doing something else.

The total list of dates (a lot) is at https://www.centerforsecuritypolicy.org/wuhan-virus/

        1. About Frank Gaffney — the guy who started the Center for Security Policy, touted by Allan:

          From Wikipedia —

Frank J. Gaffney Jr. (born 5 April 1953) is an American anti-Muslim conspiracy theorist[4] and the founder and president of the Center for Security Policy.

Conspiracy theories Gaffney has promoted include:

The belief that former Iraqi President Saddam Hussein was involved in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing and the Oklahoma City bombing.[54][55]

Gaffney has sought to have Republican Party strategist Grover Norquist excluded from CPAC because of his alleged ties to the Muslim Brotherhood. In 2011, Gaffney said of Norquist, “We are in a war, and he has been working with the enemy for over a decade.”[56] Responding to the accusation, the board of directors of the American Conservative Union unanimously condemned Gaffney’s charges as “reprehensible” and “unfounded.”[57]

Accusations that Hillary Clinton aide Huma Abedin is a secret agent of the Muslim Brotherhood.[59] After the allegation was repeated by Michele Bachmann, US senators John McCain, Scott Brown, and Marco Rubio joined in dismissing it, and Speaker of the United States House of Representatives John Boehner said “accusations like this being thrown around are pretty dangerous.”[60][61]

Accusations that Barack Obama is a Muslim who has secretly orchestrated “the most consequential bait-and-switch since Adolf Hitler”, that Gen. David Petraeus had “submitted to Sharia”, that congressman Keith Ellison is “likely to leak information to the Muslim Brotherhood”, and that deputies in the Broward County, Florida, sheriff’s office are “directly tied to Hamas.[62][63]

The belief that the logo of the US Missile Defense Agency is a coded indicator of “official U.S. submission to Islam” because it “appears ominously to reflect a morphing of the Islamic crescent and star with the Obama campaign logo”.[64]

The belief that the responsibility-to-protect norm has been supported by the United States government to lay the groundwork for a forthcoming American military invasion of Israel.[65]

The belief that Muslim enemies of the United States are hidden in plain sight and organizing through mainstream Muslim rights organizations. He said of Muslims, “They essentially, like termites, hollow out the structure of the civil society and other institutions, for the purpose of creating conditions under which the jihad will succeed.”[66]

          1. It sounds like you have already gone blind Anonymous the Stupid.

Years ago organizations like the Center warned of a future attack on the World Trade Center by Islamists, but because of your type of fear of being called an Islamaphobe the PC thing was to discard the warnings, but it happend. Stupid people like you blame the bombing of the World Trade Center on old white men instead of Islamists.

Now you can go back to the bathroom.

    2. WHO another worthless globalist combine that does nothing and serves the interests of international finance and the slave-managers in the CCP. pathetic.! dont ever rely on international anything anymore. garbage!

      1. Agree with you and Trump I don’t think waited for WHO approval.

Kurtz, what I find amazing is that the low IQ left’s (not mentioning anyone in particular) opinion of WHO and other things varies with whether or not an entity or article agrees with what they wish to believe.

    3. An old article, but it provides some information about Frank Gaffney’s Center for Security Policy:

“What is the Center for Security Policy?”

      By Joel Gunter
      BBC News

      https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-35037943

But what exactly is the Center for Security Policy, and just how highly respected is it?

      It’s a conservative think-tank

The CSP was founded in 1988 by Frank Gaffney Jr, a former staffer in the Ronald Reagan administration who has been accused of Islamophobia. On its website, the centre calls itself a “Special Forces in the War of Ideas” which offers “maximum bang for the buck” to its donors.

The CSP does not publish information about who those donors are, but according to a 2013 report by Salon they include some of the US’s biggest aviation and defence companies – Boeing, General Dynamics, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, Raytheon and General Electric.

Promoted on the organisation’s website are reports and books with titles such as Star Spangled Sharia, Civilisation Jihad, and Muslim Colonisation of America. Responding to the controversy over Mr Trump’s remarks, the CSP said it was “necessary to respond to the threat posed by jihadist terror in a way that … calls it what it is”.

      It’s not very highly respected

The CSP has been criticised across the political spectrum – by high-profile Republicans as well as Democrats – and by organisations which monitor extremist groups. Terri Johnson, executive director of the Center for New Community and J Richard Cohen, president of the Southern Poverty Law Center, called it “an extremist think-tank” led by an “anti-Muslim conspiracist”.

The group was heavily criticised in 2012 after it repeatedly accused Huma Abedin, an aide to Hillary Clinton, of being a secret member of the Muslim Brotherhood. Leading Republicans including John McCain and John Boehner denounced the accusations.

      Does its research stand up?

Arguably, no. According to the Bridge Initiative, a Georgetown University Islamophobia research project, the CSP survey was an online, self-selecting poll of 600 people, meaning respondents opted in to taking part.

Self-selecting internet surveys are less reliable that more traditional, random polling methods, because the opt-in element can lead to bias. Then there are the existing views of the organisation commissioning the poll – the CSP – which may have influenced the outcome.

(Maybe we’ll see something from the BBS that’s a little more current, with information about the current pandemic but, in the meantime, the aforementioned article provides some insight.)

      1. Typical of Anonymous the Stupid who thank goodness has gotten out of the bathroom. Your political impression of the Center is yours and others that believe like you. What counts is what they wrote. Did you find something wrong in the timeline or are you just acting like your Stupid self?

      2. I dont need Frank Gaffney to tell me that the WHO is incompetent I Just need to have a memory that lasts about three months long. Which I have. I could care less about who reports the facts but the facts are precisely that the CCP did cover up the emergent virus and the WHO did report their patently bogus figures as if they were accurate and the WHO did issue any number of not-helpful missives to the world along the way.

But why stop at the WHO. Who cares about the WHO anyhow. We are America. We run our own show.

Who was in charge? Big execs, backed by big finance. We have tons of American executives who are criminally incompetent too. They are the ones in command of all the big budgets for hospitals and such which failed to stockpile masks and respirators, why? more profits, more bonuses for execs, more big buildings, more high margin elective surgeries, more armies of bureaucrats, and JACK SQUAT for basic stuff. Oh, they’re so smart, and they deserve to be caned for incompetence!

Now, they will demonize Trump if they can in this thing, make no mistake. And let’s see who they were givign money to in 2016:

        https://www.modernhealthcare.com/article/20161029/MAGAZINE/310299989/healthcare-leaders-send-cash-to-hillary-clinton-shun-donald-trump

MASSIVELY INCOMPETENT US HEALTHCARE EXECS SHOULD BE ARRESTED, TRIED, AND HUNG!

toss the banking execs along with them, why not? throw some university presidents in there too. America’s been betrayed for too long by its managerial elites. Trump was a stab at trying to rectify this. There will be more stabs at it too, once Trump is gone. The peasants are going to get their pitchforks out and the “C Suite” is going to be a target. No amount of donations to both sides in the next race will stop it.

Right now, I might just vote for whichever party candidate promised to hang the most incompetent executives.

If Trump sidles up too close to the financial interests now, as the Depression unfolds, he should be fired, too.

      3. Anonymous – any organization that the SPLC doesn’t like, has my vote,

    4. Allan doesn’t use quotation marks, intersperses his own comments, selectively omits information…

      “Sewer rat” describes Allan perfectly.

      1. It was clear what my own comments were in ( ) and if you didn’t know all you had to do was ask. The address was posted twice so Anonymous the Stupid if you weren’t blind and so busy in the bathroom perhaps you would have noticed it and looked at that instead.

You are posting an awful lot do you get a signal in the bathroom.

          1. No it isn’t. I didn’t take credit for the Center’s work. To most idiots think what was said was clear. Anonymous the Stupid and the Brainless wonder don’t understand that which an idiot can.
