  1. To really put this in perspective, this is over 10% of the entire U.S. population and that many people are interested in legal and constitutional issues. Amazing!

    1. God Almighty has given all his creation the gift of free will, so we need to utilize that powerful gift, therefore we need to be on God side and in his power of truth to us threw Accurate knowledge.

    1. Congratulations, Prof. Turley – I really appreciate your insights and analysis!

  2. HAIL TURLEY A TRUE LIBERAL IN THE OLD FASHIONED WAY, WHEN THE WORD MEANT SOMETHING GOOD!

Prof, I don’t always agree, but I always appreciate you taking the time to share your perceptive thoughts!

Thanks much for giving us a free speech corner on an ever increasingly locked down internet to say our peace!

    1. HATEFUL TV HOST OLBERMAN CALLS FOR TRUMP SUPPORTERS TO BE THROWN IN JAIL

NOT MAKING THIS UP! JUST LISTEN

and they call me crazy because I think we are in the liminal phase of civil war.

this crazy nutjob is calling Trump a terrorist! and we should all go to jail if we “support” him. wow

NORMAL PEOPLE BETTER VOTE BECAUSE CRAZIES LIKE THIS !

  3. STATE OF BLOG IS FAR FROM HEALTHY

Professor Turley would have us think this blog has positive momentum. This reflects the vast denial of Trump supporters in an election year driven by Murphy’s Law. Every thing that could go wrong ‘has’ gone wrong this year. No incumbent since Hoover has lurched through so many crisis’s in the run-up to November.

As the year began Donald Trump faced a well-justified impeachment. Trump had tried to force the Ukrainian president to parrot Putin lies. Yet Republican senators told us that shake-down didn’t rise to an impeachable level. Never mind that our NATO allies were truly unnerved. Professor Turley offered his scholarly expertise in defending Donald Trump. Though Turley’s defense relied on historical antidotes having little to do with the present.

Having leveraged his credibility, Professor Turley, like so many Republicans, watched in horror as Trump denied the pandemic. America was brought to its knees by lack of preparation. One could argue, in fact, that Trump’s mishandling of the pandemic was a colossal act of criminal negligence. What’s more, Trump’s fragile mental state has become increasingly questionable as his reelection chances evaporate like water on hot pavement.

Just yesterday Trump suggested that William Barr is derelict in his duties if doesn’t indict Obama and Biden in the immediate future. Barr, one should note, is Turley’s dear old friend. Old Bill Barr is the reason Turley leveraged his credibility. Turley hadn’t noticed that everyone in Trump’s orbit gets splattered by toxic residue. Funny how that goes.

Yet Turley was sly enough to keep his blog topics safe for Trump supporters. Hence the heavy emphasis on ‘Free Speech (for conservatives) and ‘Tyranny From The Left’ issues. Never mind that these columns have a paint-by-number quality. They allow Turley to avoid any mention of Donald Trump. And that, of course, is the purpose of these columns: ‘Avoiding Trump mentions’.

This avoidance of Donald Trump has required Turley to indulge a certain commenter known as ‘The Blog Troll’. Said troll is a fire-breathing Trumper who comments around the clock from early morning to late evening. He keeps changing names, however, in a feeble bid to disguise the sheer volume of his posts. Though readers can’t help but notice the repetitive stupidity of these posts. The troll is only kidding himself ‘and’ Professor Turley. The latter imagines blog traffic is greater than ever!

  4. This is depressing. So many people so quick to criticize Turley. Yet so few compliment him on a genuine achievement.

    1. What I would like to know is how much it cost to buy you, Professor Turley. I hope it was equal to the value of your soul.

  5. That is just fantastic, Professor, and Darryl. Congrats, and may you always do what you do. You are a light. Thank you so much for all that you do.

  6. Hi Darren as above under Allan those postings don’t seem to have made it through and posting test didn’t make it through either though several posts made it. A few were substantive to change the dialogue with Anonymous.

    Hope you can help. Thanks

  7. Darren, if you are there can you help me out? Yesterday I posted several substantive posts to Anonymous to shift the subject to a more productive discussion but it appears they did not post. I tried to repost one of them again and it didn’t make it.

Can you help? Thanking in advance.

    Allan

  8. Congrats and well done. Can you please inform us , what are the potential ramifications of a 15 member Supreme Court, say 9 liberals and 6 conservatives. We all know Roe, ACA, etc, but give us three examples of the worst case scenario, What can they rule, and how difficult would it be to add 6 justices in year one if the Dems sweep the election ? Thank you Hc.

  9. Congratulations! Your posts are often thought-provoking (even when I disagree with your opinions). And the commentators are (mostly) civilized.
