Comedic Relief: Biden Declares Hunter Investigation Just More “Foul Play” By Political Operatives

We had breaking news Thursday night: Joe Biden is proud of his son Hunter. After a blackout on the Hunter Biden scandal before the election, it often seems as if the media is struggling to offer the appearance of coverage without actually asking questions that could be damaging for the president-elect.

That view of many was reinforced in the first interview with Biden about his son since the November election. It was conducted by CBS’ Stephen Colbert, host of “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.” Biden has refused to answer questions on the expanding scandal surrounding his son’s China connections so this was a big deal. However, the president-elect’s team arranged for the all-important question to be asked by a comedian on a late-night show.

CBS is filled with hugely talented reporters who were left as pedestrians watching this fawning interview.

There was something not quite right about what unfolded on Thursday night. It was like the New York Met’s starting pitcher Jacob DeGrom and the Cleveland Indian’s Shane Bieber watching from the dugout as Dr. Anthony Fauci takes the mound as the starter in a season opener. The only difference is that this was clearly designed to be both the opener and closer for the media.

It did not even appear newsworthy that Biden was denouncing the Justice Department investigation as an example of “foul play” after CBS and other networks spent years denouncing Trump for calling the Russian collusion story a “deep state conspiracy” or a politically motivated hoax. When Biden dismisses such investigations, it is treated as manifestly true or at least not worthy of a challenging follow-up question.

For the record, I have written about the influence-peddling scheme of Hunter Biden and his uncle for years.

I have never had a reporter in private question whether this was an influence-peddling scheme or the Biden family’s history of using public office to enrich themselves. Indeed, it was once an open joke.

When Joe Biden pushed to put his entirely unqualified son Hunter on the board of Amtrak, the only justification that Democratic Senator Tom Carper of Delaware could come up with in Committee was that Hunter Biden was qualified because “Hunter Biden has spent a lot of time on Amtrak trains.” It was like appointing him to a top Food and Drug Administration board because he “eats a lot.”

The Colbert interview was an utter embarrassment. Colbert gently raised the scandal and immediately framed it in terms of Republicans seeking to use it against Joe Biden.

PRESIDENT-ELECT JOE BIDEN: We have great confidence in our son.

JILL BIDEN: Uh-huh.

JOE BIDEN: I am not concerned about any accusations that have been made against him. It’s used to get to me. I think it’s kind of foul play, but, look, it is what it is. And he’s a grown man. He is the smartest man I know. I mean, in pure intellectual capacity. And as long as he’s good, we’re good.

STEPHEN COLBERT: As a father, I understand that, and – and – and I – I admire that. But, I mean, in terms of your job as president, you can reach across the aisle to people who will be using this as an attack on you when it is such a personal attack because it’s about family?

JOE BIDEN: But if it benefits the country, yes. I really mean it.

Later, the president-elect’s team sought to spin the reference to “foul play” to say that Biden was referencing a long history of political attacks.

However, so was Trump when he attacked the Russian collusion investigation as part of a campaign against him.

In fairness to Trump, those collusion allegations collapsed early in the investigation and now all of the top Justice Department figures from James Comey to Sally Yates to Rosenstein say that they would not have approved the Carter Page surveillance if they knew then what they know today about the flawed basis for the investigation.

There is comparably far more evidence supporting the investigation of Hunter Biden.

Moreover, Biden was clearly referring to this investigation when he said “I think it’s kind of foul play, . . .  it is what it is.”

This follows Biden’s repeated assertion that his son “did nothing wrong,” a claim that I and others have long challenged.

Even if you believe Hunter cannot be charged with a crime, the criminal code is not the only measure of wrongdoing. This was raw influence-peddling on a global scale. It was wrong in its own right.

What was most embarrassing about the Colbert interview is the careful avoidance of any specific or substantive question. It was the ultimate “Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?” interview.

Colbert framed the investigation in strictly political terms and how it affects Biden as a father and candidate. Moreover, this is not just about Hunter Biden. It is also about the president-elect Biden and whether he lied about his knowledge of the dealings and whether he knew about an influence-peddling scheme using his position. Either witnesses like former Hunter Biden business associate Tony Bobulinski are lying or Joe Biden is lying.

Bobulinski has given his allegations to the FBI under threat of prosecution. Biden has never uttered a word about Bobulinski.

There was not a single question from Colbert on Thursday about  how emails and witnesses, if true, would reveal that Biden has knowingly and repeatedly lied. To date, he has denied any knowledge of the son’s business dealings.

Hunter Biden himself contradicted his father on that point but that was not enough to ask Joe Biden about his past denials.

Likewise, Bobulinski, (who Hunter Biden showers with praise in the emails related to SinoHawk Holdings) contradicts Joe Biden in detailed accounts for their discussions of the dealings. Not a single question.

Email exchanges repeatedly reference Joe Biden while telling people not to use his name in writing. Not a single question.

Joe Biden and Jill Biden were listed as office mates with one of the Chinese figures with a need for their own keys to the office. No question.

Hunter Biden is shown in emails conversing about loans and dealings with the entire “Biden family.” Not a single question.

Instead, the breaking news from Thursday’s interview is that Biden is proud of his son Hunter.

Now that I think about it, the selection of a late-night comedian for this interview was the perfect choice.

  1. Sure thing Comrade Biden. You can laugh but you can’t run and hide anymore when half the nation – or more- refuses to recognize you as legitimate and your socialist manifesto.

  2. Turley: if Biden’s claim now is not enough for you to support Trump appointing an Independent Prosecutor to investigate Joe and Hunter Biden, then what would it take? Joe is openly claiming that to investigate his son is “Foul Play,” which means the investigation is a fraud and/or illegal political games. Biden just proved he will stop any and all investigations against him and/or his scum bag son crack whore of a son Hunter.

Trump is a POS and I have zero respect for him. Pelosi demanded Trump give her evidence the law did not require; Trump refused followed by Pelosi claiming that Trump “obstructed justice.” If Pelosi was accurate then Biden blocks justice now.

How can Turley still claim an Independent Prosecutor investigating Joe Biden is wrong?

  3. “Hunter Biden received $3.5M wire transfer from Russian billionaire: Senate report”

Hunter Biden received a $3.5 million wire transfer from Elena Baturina, the richest woman in Russia and the widow of Yury Luzhkov, the former mayor of Moscow, Senate Republicans revealed in their report on the younger Biden’s work in Ukraine. Baturina is referenced in the 87-page report, which was released Wednesday, addressing her payment to Biden’s investment firm in early 2014. “Baturina became Russia’s only female billionaire when her plastics company, Inteko, received a series of Moscow municipal contracts while her husband was mayor,” it said in providing background on the businesswoman. The report described her involvement with Biden as “a financial relationship,” but declined to delve deeper into why the wire transfer was made. The probe also found that Baturina sent 11 wires transfers between May and December 2015 to a bank account belonging to BAK USA, a tech startup that filed for bankruptcy in March 2019. Nine of those 11 wire transfers were first sent to Rosemont Seneca Partners, the investment firm founded by Biden and Chris Heinz, stepson of former Secretary of State John Kerry, before being transferred to BAK USA. All 11 transactions described the payments as “Loan Agreement” in the details section. The report reads, “[B]etween May 6, 2015 and Dec. 8, 2015, Baturina sent 11 wires in the amount of $391,968.21 to a bank account belonging to BAK USA LLC (BAK USA). Nine of the 11 transactions, totaling $241,797.14 were sent from Baturina’s accounts to a Rosemont Seneca Thornton bank account, which then transferred to the money to BAK USA. The 11 transactions all listed ‘Loan Agreement’ in the payment details section.
“BAK USA was a startup technology company headquartered in Buffalo, N.Y., that produced tablet computers in cooperation with unnamed Chinese business partners. BAK USA filed for bankruptcy on March 29, 2019, with a reported loss of $39 million. These transactions were identified because of Baturina’s reported criminal activity,” it continues. The probe and report’s commission were overseen by Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee Chairman Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) and Senate Finance Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa). Their investigative work found that in 2015, two Obama administration officials voiced concerns to White House officials about the possibility that the younger Biden serving on the board of Burisma could create the appearance of a conflict of interest, as his father, then-Vice President Joe Biden, oversaw Ukraine policy. The report states that the Obama White House knew that Hunter’s position prevented “the efficient execution of policy with respect to Ukraine,” but that attempts by officials to raise alarms fell “on deaf ears.” It also alleged that Hunter “formed significant and consistent financial relationships” with the founder of Burisma, Mykola Zlochevsky, and that his and his business partner Devon Archer’s firms “made millions of dollars from that association” while his father was vice president. The committees also said they obtained records from the US Treasury Department that “show potential criminal activity relating to transactions among and between Hunter Biden, his family, and his associates with Ukrainian, Russian, Kazakh and Chinese nationals.” The report adds, “The records also note that some of these transactions are linked to what ‘appears to be an Eastern European prostitution or human trafficking ring.’” The younger Biden had no material experience to serve on the board of the energy and gas company, but was given a high-paying seat regardless.

  4. It’s a good thing that the hard-hitting, investigative journalist did not ask “Dr.” Jill Biden about her graduate dissertation. (Which, in fact, is not a Ph.D. dissertation, but a vapid executive summary.) Her *education* graduate paper is filled with typos, inarticulate “sentences,” and arithmetic that self-identifies as “math.”

Her “Dr.” title is as “earned” as is everything else in that corrupt family.

    1. Oh, yeah, that good old fundamental truth, huh? Try this one:

Neither Obama nor Harris will ever be a “natural born citizen” and neither Obama nor Harris will ever be eligible for the office of president or vice president as their parents were both NOT “citizens” at the candidate’s date of birth and because the father of the candidate was not a “citizen” on the date of the candidate’s birth, per Book 1, Ch. 19, § 212, of the Law of Nations, 1758, which “…has been continually in the hands of the members of our Congress, now sitting, who are much pleased with your notes and preface, and have entertained a high and just esteem for their author…,” according to a letter written by Ben Franklin. Obama and Harris are “citizens” and eligible only for Congress or the Senate.

There’s yet another fundamental truth the pundits, experts, scholars, politicians, judges and Justices completely ignore.

  5. Colbert: “. . . using this as an attack on you when it is such a personal attack because it’s about family?”

No. It’s about Biden (and his kleptocratic family) being compromised by a communist dictatorship.

      1. “Of course, it’s one thing for the Biden Crime Family to cheat their business partners. It’s something else entirely for them to jeopardize the national security of the U.S. by compromising themselves with the Chinese Communist dictatorship.

You see, the CCP knew exactly who it was dealing with, and it was not the drug-addled, sex-crazed son. Rather, they were cutting deals with the father, who just happened to be the vice president of the United States.

What this means is that Joe Biden is fatally compromised. Retired CIA officer Sam Faddis, who has reviewed the thousands of documents on Hunter Biden’s laptop, puts it this way:

There is a mountain of evidence that tells you that Joe Biden has been up to his eyeballs in CCP dealings. They bought from him influence. That means that they have “recruited” him, in spy parlance. He works for Beijing. You are about to have that guy sit down in the Oval Office as an agent of the Chinese Communist Party?

        The American people deserve better.”

        https://www.lifesitenews.com/blogs/how-joe-biden-was-recruited-to-become-agent-of-chinese-communist-party

        1. I went to the Stop the Steal Rally in DC and held a sign that said “China owns Biden”. After reading Senators Johnson and Grassley’s Report on Hunter Biden’s family business deals all over the world, it’s worse than anyone can imagine. Why didn’t the FBI, DOJ and whistleblowers put a stop to this racketeering? They certainly moved at full speed non-stop about the Trump’s Russia collusion. It was always about the China collusion and the democrats looked the other way. We are living in a banana republic. This is sickening.

    1. Sam, I won’t even respond directly to Joe on this one. He’s ignorant of the news despite much of it proving your case being placed on this blog directly in front of him. Credibility counts. That is something he will never have.

Though I never made him a habit I always liked Colbert who is intelligent and funny. Currently, Colbert isn’t worth watching.

But, think about it. The Colbert interview was the toughest (if not the only ) interview Biden had in about 1 week. This is the President the left voted for? Laughable.

      1. “He’s ignorant of the news despite . . .’

Mel, you are too benevolent. That ilk are not “ignorant.” They are willfully evasive.

      2. “But, think about it. The Colbert interview was the toughest (if not the only ) interview Biden had in about 1 week.”
        ————-

President Joe and Docta Jill will be doing their next hard-hitting serious sit down interview with the ladies on The View.

Astoundingly, no one in the media will press Joe on anything. Joe will never be asked to put on record his answers to relevant questions. He can’t handle the press. Just look back to the 80s when Joe was campaigning for president and couldn’t stop lying and couldn’t stop yelling at reporters asking him “tough” questions. Joe could not handle it way back in the 80s and he definitely cannot handle it today. So guess what? The media is in full protection mode. It is disgusting.

  6. Dementia Joe is damaged goods. The Hunter Biden-China investigations are the opening act for his removal.

In the meantime, the blowback from an in your face stolen election is going to reach a boiling point. Which is why they are trying to reinstate lockdowns using the increasingly frayed corona canard as an excuse to try to keep the populace under control.

Not only will that not work, it is going to make the problem far worse. The big boys at the Pentagon now know that their rank and file soldiers will not follow any orders that are issued against their fellow Americans. That is a very large problem for the statists.

      1. Gee Sam, do you think you could give us examples of this, that, you know, doesn’t blow up in your face? Rhodes is beyond hope, but you some integrity left, right?

You’ve heard by now one assumes that your most recent scam … I mean accusation …. about Dominion machines and Antrim Michigan ended with the paper ballot recount confirming the Dominion result, right?

What went wrong there and have you completed your retraction posting yet?

    1. I am thinking/hoping against hope, that the GOP takes over both houses in 2 years, impeaches and removes scum bag Biden from Office. Then incinerate KAH-mala (her own pronunciation) in 2024, hopefully with a good GOP president instead of that DH Trump.

  7. So, when Trump called the hurling of entirely fictitious accounts of Russian collusion foul play, or words to that effect, it was true. When Biden did it, it was false. You admit that, (at least eventually) Professor Turley, and yet you still want to act like it’s almost the same thing. An innocent person protesting his innocence is not the same as a guilty person protesting his innocence. You don’t need a law degree to figure that one out. You say that Biden influence peddling was an open joke. I’m not laughing.

  8. Fictional President Joe Biden and personal ventriloquist, Docta Jill Biden, will soon meet with incoming social secretary Peng Liyuan who will assist the Bidens in choosing a suitable China pattern for the new administration.

    1. Cindy, explain why the Trump campaign has lost every court challenge to the election results.

        1. Ah, excuse me, Anonymous, but Trump has claimed to be a billionaire for at least 30 years. Trump’s father was one of New York City’s richest citizens. Joe Biden, by comparison, came from fairly humble origins. So your claim that courts sided with billionaires here is like saying the sky is green and grass is blue.

        1. Cindy, there is no logical answer. 86 judges have heard Trump challenges. 38 of those judges were Republican appointees. One of the most blistering rejections was issued by Bush-appointed judge in Pennsylvania. However a recent, Trump appointed judge in Milwaukee issue one of the last rejections. It makes no sense whatsoever to say that all those judges are corrupt.

          1. Immediately after the election I commented here that this problem was too big for the courts. I won’t trouble to explain why I thought that, but, sadly, events have proven it to be true, right up to the Supreme Court.

They have not so much addressed the issues on the merits as tried to evade the challenges by procedural tactics such as standing, laches, or being moot. They used those poles to keep the dragon at a distance, but it is not a safe distance.

That the courts haven’t closed with the problem says nothing about the merits of the cases. If the evidence proves to be as strong as many now allege, then only the President has the authority to settle the matter.

            1. Young, the problem is a president repeating lies with no sense of scruples. Trump was an over-privileged kid who became a playboy more than anything. That’s how Trump got “The Apprentice”; ‘his aging playboy image’.

Viewers were interested because Trump had been a glamorous figure going back to Studio 54. Trump was often photographed in elegant formalwear. Trump functioned as a goodwill ambassador promoting New York City. It was in Trump’s interest, of course. Boosting New York City was good for Trump-owned properties.

Trump got “The Apprentice” from being a penthouse playboy. Everyone knew Trump dated the hottest women. That’s how “The Apprentice” was sold to NBC; dramas in the life of an aging playboy. A mouthy New York hustler with John Gotti’s swagger; totally incorrect but highly amusing.

But Trump knew nothing about governing. No experience. Governing didn’t interest Trump. Trump just wanted to shake things up by shocking the public every day. Using Tweets as a weapon to bludgeon perceived traitors.

Trump drew a Special Counsel probe in record time out of sheer stupidity. By denying repeatedly Russia ever meddled. Trump had to deny because he had publicly asked for Putin’s assistance on Prime Time Television.

So ‘that’ Donald Trump claims the election was ‘rigged’. After claiming for months the pandemic was only a blue-state problem. It’s a called a ‘Web Of Lies’. Lies become the spider web in a 1950’s horror film. The liar becomes entangled like a mere fly. Thrashing in horror as the atomic spider emerges from its cave.

              1. “But Trump knew nothing about governing.”

Embarrassing ignorance from this coward who only parrots left wing hysteria. It is true Trump was not a sophisticated politician owing debts to the lobbyists. Did Trump fulfill his campaign promises? Much more so than any other President. Those not fulfilled were partially done while he fought for the rest. His successes have been seen and mostly left unreported by the media leading to this cowards ignorance.

                Parrot on.

                  1. Are you starting up again with your Alan nonsense? You have nothing else to say? Again you want to act infantile with insults? What did the above anonymous say that was wrong?

“Trump was not a sophisticated politician owing debts to the lobbyists. ”

“Did Trump fulfill his campaign promises? Much more so than any other President.”

” His successes have been seen and mostly left unreported by the media ”

As apparently you told Cincy “Cindy parrots what she’s heard from others.” You keep parroting on without being able to defend your position..

Now it is time for you to disprove those three statements. Are you able? No. You can only deal in juvenile insults.

I will differentiate this comment from others with a name and an icon.

                    1. Attention Campers! I am Cindy Bragg aka Ruby Louise (stage name). No other name have I.
I am not a participant in this current conversation.
Anonymous hijacked my discussion upstream which was about the Bidens “China pattern”………NOT an actual china pattern.but a pattern of behavior toward CHINA!! See?? Get it??

            2. “Immediately after the election I commented here that this problem was too big for the courts.”

Young, you were right then and you are right now. Democracy and its judicial system doesn’t function well where blatant corruption is spread so far and wide touching every point of society. Since Republicans for years have been waiting on the delivery of two spherical object apiece and are still waiting I don’t believe there is any Presidential action that can help. The only hope is the latest Sydney Powell claim sitting on the SC’s desk and likely gathering dust.

          2. Most judges aren’t corrupt but most are cowards and worried about their jobs. To suggest we get the best and brightest on the bench flies in the face of reality. Nobody wants the pay cut except those for whom the salary is really a raise. Grow up. When I was on judicial recruitment committees, you couldn’t get a truly qualified persons for what the state pays.

            1. True about pay, but not everyone who studies law does it to cash in and milk insurance companies.

            2. Mespo– Well said. You give a couple of the reasons I thought at the outset that this was too big for the courts. There are others and you almost certainly have them in mind with varying degrees of confidence as well as I do. Maybe more.

I think the president has latent powers to deal with this but it remains to be seen how he will act. Unlike many politicians, he acts, sometimes swiftly and decisively.

Recall that the first time around one of the usual low-life reporters asked if he would concede if he lost the election and he said something like ‘it depends’. Happened this time too I think. ‘Depends’ on what? A foreign power putting a demented old man in office? Massive cheating by Democrats sponsored by big tech?

              Now we may see.

        2. Ive posted Saul Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals a few times, and they are worth posting again to provide insight on the paid Act Blue / George Soros Left wing trolls do what they do. Please note the ones bolded that are some of the more oft used rules by the usual trolls. As others have noted, the frequency of posting by them has mushroomed these past weeks not coincidentally.

“Power is not only what you have but what the enemy thinks you have.”
“Never go outside the expertise of your people.”
“Whenever possible go outside the expertise of the enemy.”
“Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules.”
“Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon. There is no defense. It is almost impossible to counterattack ridicule. Also it infuriates the opposition, who then react to your advantage.”
“A good tactic is one your people enjoy.”
“A tactic that drags on too long becomes a drag.”
          “Keep the pressure on.”
“The threat is usually more terrifying than the thing itself. ”
“The major premise for tactics is the development of operations that will maintain a constant pressure upon the opposition.”
“If you push a negative hard and deep enough it will break through into its counterside; this is based on the principle that every positive has its negative.”

    2. Cindy:
He’s got a China pattern alright and it’s an expensive one with the dishes having names like Fang Fang.

      1. mespo……Good one! Doesn’t.”Fang Fang” sounds like a stuttering Phyllis Diller calling her husband??

When talking about the Bidens, “China pattern” has a double meaning. IMO, their pattern of behavior toward China was what I was going for, but I was too subtle…..and was totally unappreciated by armored anonymouses. Must be their mating season..

  9. Forget Hunter Biden

Jared Kushner Created Mysterious Shell Company To Disguise Campaign Funding

Lara Trump Served As Company President With John Pence (Mike’s Nephew) As Vice President

According to Business Insider, first son-in-law Jared Kushner personally approved the creation of a company, incorporated as American Made Media Consultants Corp. and American Made Media Consultants LLC, in April 2018. From there, Eric Trump’s wife, Lara Trump, was named president, with Mike Pence’s nephew John Pence serving as vice president. If you’re wondering why the shell company, described as Business Insider as acting “almost like a campaign within a campaign” was necessary, well, it’s not entirely clear, but it sure sounds like the express purpose was the ability to shield “financial and operational details from public scrutiny,” as it allowed the campaign to avoid federally mandated disclosures concerning what it was spending considerable amounts of money on. And by considerable we mean nearly half of the $1.26 billion raised for Trump’s reelection.

Campaign-finance records showed Trump’s reelection effort and its affiliated committee with the Republican National Committee spent more than $600 million through American Made Consultants since its formation. For months, some of Trump’s top advisers and campaign staff told Insider they had no idea how the shell company functioned, which cast an air of mystery around the operation…. Some of those same advisers said they didn’t learn about John Pence’s and Lara Trump’s involvement until Insider contacted them for this story.

Campaign-law experts have long accused the Trump team of using a corporate pass-through to hide payments. The nonpartisan Campaign Legal Center, led by former Republican Federal Election Commission Chairman Trevor Potter, filed a civil complaint with the FEC in July accusing the Trump campaign of “disguising” about $170 million worth of campaign spending in large part “by laundering the funds” through AMMC. Brendan Fischer, the Campaign Legal Center’s director of federal reform, said the payments to AMMC were a “scheme to evade telling voters even the basics on where its money is really going” and a “shield to disguise the ultimate recipients of its spending.”

Within the larger campaign, some leaders told Business Insider they were in the dark regarding the AMMC arrangement, saying that they were generally aware the company was used to purchase TV, radio, and digital advertising but had no idea exactly how much each vendor was keeping for itself. While some advisers have accused former campaign manager Brad Parscale of mismanaging money, the bulk of the cash spent by AMMC—$415 million—occurred after Parscale was fired on July 15. (Parscale has defended his spending as campaign manager.)

As for what Parscale’s successor, Bill Stepien, knew of the situation, a Republican close to the White House suggested to Business Insider that Stepien may have purposely kept himself in the dark so as not to anger Kushner. Another source, though, believed the first son-in-law may have been the one keeping the information from Stepien. “Nothing was done without Jared’s approval,” the source said. “What Stepien doesn’t know is because Jared doesn’t want him to know.”

    1. “Forget Hunter Biden”

Translation: Anon’s paymaster Pooh Bear Jinping would absolutely love for Hunter Biden to be forgotten.

But Hunter and the Biden’s are now the subject of 3 different investigations.

Therefore, you and Pooh Bear are thoroughly f*cked, and the corrupt China cat is completely out of the bag thanks to Hunter’s severe cocaine addiction.

But that’s just the tip of the China iceberg. There is much more that will be revealed in 2021. Which is why your days are numbered.

      1. Investigate them all, Bidens and Trumps.

Trump will pardon his kids and wife and try to pardon himself, but there are still state crimes.

        1. Funny, how those crimes have been looked at, investigated and yet nothing was found to demonstrate Trump to be guilty while Biden is surrounded by evidence of guilt but no investigation.

Maybe you can list in the specific the crimes not yet looked into that you believe make Trump guilty. Based on what we have seen proven Trump might be the most honest guy in D.C. In fact he and his family need protection from the corrupt Democrat officials that act politically without any concern for the law.

  10. If you think it was a terrible thing for Trump to be influenced by the Russians why don’t you think it is just as terrible for Biden to be influenced by the Chinese? The only answer is to defend hypocrisy. We absolutely know of Hunters business dealings with the Chinese. To change the subject to Trump is an amazingly weak argument made by amazingly weak arguers.

    1. Arguments don’t matter to them only power. And they have the mass media megaphone and so that gives them the power.

Former Trump fans should wake up to this. Power is an end worth seeking. And when you have it you gotta grow it more. You gotta crush your enemies and not play fiddlesticks and tweet.

let’s face it. Trump failed. He didn’t use what powers he had, and we are all understanding clearly as ever, the office of POTUS is not as powerful as the lying mass media told us in the first place.

The billionaires are the enemy, their endless bureaucracies inside and outside government, all filled with their mercenaries. This system SUCKS and needs to go down

Next time, no more mister nice guy!

    1. They’ve insidiously, maliciously and treasonously manipulated COVID deaths and Biden votes up, while simultaneously eliminating and/or reducing Trump votes by orders of magnitude.

It’s all part of the U.S. 2020 election which was produced and directed by China, including the deliberate release, in an election year, of the weapon of mass destruction, COVID-19.

Truth be known, President Donald J. Trump, in spite of the best efforts of communists (liberals, progressives, socialists, democrats, RINOs) worldwide, won the 2020 U.S. election in a landslide.

      1. No, you only win if the Mass Media says you win. They are the voice of the real government, the billionaires

A real election win, would end up with mass media getting padlocked like Iron Abe padlocked his enemies, and their armies getting squashed in the field, like he did too.

If it is utterly impossible that our elections ever produce any signficant change, then they are just fake, from top to bottom, regardless of how many bogus ballots one way or another.

That’s the real reason the SCOTUS shot the Texas case down. Because they all know: IT IS ALL FAKE ANYWAYS!

  11. I’ve lived here for 40 years, and I keep wondering, are the Americans who watch these television programs so stupid? They really think that people don’t have common sense and that’s why they do it.

    1. Yes, people who watch these programs are stupid. They are told these idiots like Colbert, et al, are “funny” and “smart” so they dutifully laugh and clap like seals. The show ‘The View’ is a ‘repository of all human stupidity’. (forget at the moment who said this, but it is spot on descriptor. Look no further than the segment where Whoopi Goldberg, in all seriousness, says that Dr. Jill Biden should be nominated for Surgeon General because “she is a damn good doctor.” So yes, American women are literally getting stupider by the minute each time they tune in to these programs. These programs are. of course, where every Democrat political leaders go to do their serious sit down interviews.

    2. US College students don’t even know that the Revolutionary War was. Watch campus videos. It’s totally demoralizing.

  12. If JT wants to influence certain media organzations to cover news stories such as Hunter Biden and Eric Swalwell, then he should submit articles or asked to be interviewed by them. If JT is being rejected in such requests, he should let us know. I do note that JT seems to have a fairly big audiience as he has been featured pretty recently in zerohedge, hill, foxnews, msn, truemedia, usatoday, and realclearpolitics, not to mention twittter and this blog.

    1. It doesn’t work like that. MSM knows JT et al perspectives and research. They don’t reject his information, they simply act like it doesn’t exist.

It’s the same way they present their Orwellian narrative every night and pretend the Silent Majority doesn’t exist.

      1. yes shelly but they understand one thing very well: the silent majority will stay silent!

        So they don’t count anyways.

Now if they stop paying taxes, en masse, then they will start to matter

Or better yet, boycott our fake elections altogether. Turnout should trickle to zero on the patriotic side

If we can accomplish those two things, then we can accomplish more., But if we can’t do that, easy nonviolent stuff, then we are slaves anyhow, fit to be ruled.
I guess we will find out.

  13. Has discovery in Dominion v Powell commenced yet?

My popcorn is ready, no, all the popcorn in the Great State of Iowa is ready!

    Epic, to say the least.

    Let’s ask NeedsToBeCommittedToAnInsaneAsylum.

    Is she here?

    1. Between you and her, you’re the one who Needs To Be Committed To An Insane Asylum.

      1. I’m already in one, comrade, it’s called California, where we are currently working on a petition to recall “Goofy Gavin Nuisance.”

    2. George, why do you think there is any relief to be found in the corrupt judicial system? Wake up

  14. At some point, you have to ask how much a similar scandal involving the Trump family would be covered in the mainstream press. I mean, Trump had a fraudulent University and paid a $30 million settlement and really on a brief mention and we moved on. That is just one scandal among many, many Trump family scandals.

Now, how much coverage do you want to Hunter Biden in the MSM? I mean, if we took proportional to all the Trump family scandals, this Hunter stuff warrants perhaps a few seconds of coverage. Certainly, it is far less significant than the Trump/Ukraine scandal.

    1. Objection sustained.

Chintzy deflection – counterfactual and apropos of nothing.

The Biden Crime Family is what’s on the docket.

  15. Hunter Biden Central here at Turleyville. What an effing hack.

Meantime, Covid running rampant, massive security breach, and our loser President is missing in action, concerned only with marshaling his dead-enders to save his ass from reality…

    What a pathetic clown.

    1. Geez, why are you complaining? You communists (liberals, progressives, socialists, democrats, RINOs) requested that your ally and headquarters, communist China, release the coronavirus in the 2020 election year to interdict the inexorable Trump landslide victory, you know, the one you “fixed” and “rigged” through illegal mail-in ballots cast by your “packed” electorate and thumb drives full of fake votes for Biden.

  16. Im not sure why it was a huge concern that Trump was allegedly cavorting with some Russian whores– which was not proven– and even if he was it was also never proven that they were anything more than hookers, no proven ties to Russian intelligence.

but this Smallwell Democrat Representative can have a year long relationship with a Chinse spy Fang Fang whatever her name was, he’s on the military affairs committee, and that is not a story for the mass media?

Oh wait I forgot. Billionaires dont like Russia but they like the PRC so that’s ok!
They were out to get Trump, but they are themselves, figuratively in bed with the Chicoms, so that’s ok!

    Explains everything i guess.

    Billionaires are the enemy
I don’t blame the PRC for pursuing their strategic interests, I don’t insult Fang Fang a patriotic women who put in the work for her nation.

I don’t even say that Smallwell is a bad guy. Maybe a cheater like most of them, maybe a sucker for taking the bait, and definitely a hypocrite for harassing Trump even as he did his own stupid thing. But Smallwell, obnoxious as he may be, is not the enemy.

I blame the American billionaires born in America, because they owe our nation their loyalty, and instead they play with it like a puppet.
They make their media assets fill our minds with false propaganda and withhold the truth.
So they can make more money!

They are the enemy a thousand times more even than the PRC. The enemy inside the gates is the most dangerous.

    1. Swalwell cooperated with the FBI. Trump didn’t. Trump says he’s a billionaire. He’s one of the enemies inside the gates.

      1. You ——- idiot. The FBI spied on the President and aided and abetted the Obama Coup D’etat in America.

Christopher Wray is a treasonous American Communist Deep Deep State operative.

Are you aware of the corruption of the FISA court and the decimation of the FBI, Comey, McCabe, Baker, Strzok, Page et al.
        _________________________________________________________________________________________________

        “We will stop him.”

“[Obama] wants to know everything we’re doing.”

        – Lisa Page to FBI paramour Peter Strzok

      2. FBI is corrupt. But Ok, I think Trump is a failure at best, a fake front to trick patriots into 4 more years of pretending American system is valid, at worst. Let it rip. Let it collapse. It sucks!

        1. Trump was a fraud, a fake from beginning to end. 20 years ago he may have really cared about his fellow citizens, but I think by the time he took office he did not give a crap about anything much except himself.

If he cared he would have had public debates with guys like Rand Paul and others debating the wickedness of the Central Bank. The guy running the Treasury now, per Turley, ran a bank that evicted an American citizen for missing one bank payment. And Mike Flynn apparently worked to turnover an enemy of Erdogan in Turkey; the enemy lived in the US and Erdogan would certainly have tortured and killed the man, like so many leaders of foreign countries do all the time with our blessing…..absolutely disgusting.

And what did Trump accomplish vs. China with all his horrible rhetoric? One of my businesses failed, a product made in China; I have good reason to believe Trump’s war against China was partly to blame.

And how the hell can people who earn around $100k or more possibly support Trump? His tax law screwed those taxpayers out of $5k annually, even those who live in a State with moderate taxes. I hope to God Biden can get rid of Trump’s tax changes, as long as the net saves me $5k or even a portion of it.

          1. ” I hope to God Biden can get rid of Trump’s tax changes, as long as the net saves me $5k ”

We get the point. You want policy changes as long as it helps me me me.

      3. I guess your next BS lie is to state that Swallwell did know the truth when claimed Trump was a Russian agent. He knew he lied to me and every American. He knew he lied because we have learned that before Eric looked into the camera and did those things, all the people who were first hand sources swore under oath they had no such evidence (behind closed doors).

Trump is a human piece of debris; Swallwell is worse.
