The Sweet Sound of Censorship: The Biden Administration Seeks the Perfect Pitch for Disinformation Governance

Many politicians and pundits are in full panic over Elon Musk’s threat to restore free speech values to Twitter.  While Hillary Clinton has called upon Europeans to step in to maintain such censorship and Barack Obama has called for U.S. regulations, the Biden Administration has created a new Disinformation Governance Board in the Department of Homeland Security. It appointed an executive director, Nina Jankowicz, who is literally pitch perfect as an advocate for both corporate and state censorship.

It would have been hard to come up with a more Orwellian name short of the Ministry of Truth. However, the DGB needed a true believer to carry out the monitoring of political speech in the United States. It found that person in Jankowicz, who has long been an outspoken anti-free speech advocate.

Indeed, Jankowicz put her extreme views to music and posted it on TikTok in a rendition of Mary Poppins’ “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious.”

What is clear is that Jankowicz has a far better hold on the musical scale than constitutional values. With what is a remarkably impressive singing voice, Jankowicz croons that “You can just call me the Mary Poppins of disinformation.”

It was a poignant and prophetic line.

Jankowicz was selected by the Biden Administration after years of pushing disinformation on the left while calling for censorship of the right.

Jankowicz previously argued that Congress should create new laws to block mockery of women online by reauthorizing the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) and including “provisions against online gender-based harassment.”

Jankowicz testified before British House of Parliament last year about “gender misinformation” being a “national security concern” and a threat to democracy requiring government censorship.

She has demanded that both tech companies and government should work together using “creativity and technological prowess to make a pariah of online misogyny.”

On the Hunter Biden laptop, Jankowicz pushed the false narrative that it was a false story and that “we should view it as a Trump campaign product.” She continued to spread that disinformation, including tweeting a link to a news article that she said cast “yet more doubt on the provenance of the NY Post’s Hunter Biden story.” In another tweet, she added “not to mention that the emails don’t need to be altered to be part of an influence campaign. Voters deserve that context, not a [fairy] tale about a laptop repair shop.”

She even cites the author of the Steele Dossier as a guide for how to deal with disinformation. In August 2020, Jankowicz tweeted “Listened to this last night – Chris Steele (yes THAT Chris Steele) provides some great historical context about the evolution of disinfo. Worth a listen.”

She also joined the panic over the Musk threat to reintroduce free speech values to Twitter. In an interview on NPR, she stated “I shudder to think about if free speech absolutists were taking over more platforms, what that would look like for the marginalized communities.”

Pitch perfect. Indeed, in seeing how we all “measure up,” Nina Jankowicz “is practically perfect in every way.”

Eagerly awaiting your response to the video links of Biden and his spokespeople claiming the laptop is Russian disinformation.
While you’re at it, take a stab at what “10% held by H for the big guy” means. Or, “at least I won’t make you give me half of your money like Pops”. No one needs to regurgitate the laptop contents for you here. It’s all out there for everyone you see. Not to mention the credible, damning statements by Tony Bobulinski, which appear to be corroborated by contemporaneous emails and texts. Also the numerous photos of Biden with Hunters business interests, which he claims to have no knowledge of. I believe it was Joe’s brother who referred to it as “plausible deniability”. It’s not plausible anymore.

Where is your proof that anything that was claimed to have been on the laptop (of which there was apparently more than one lmao) was dated after it was left at the shop?

(reposting because still a little shaky on where to leave replies :))

  2. Why not just say it out loud “Joe Biden is a crook and a pedi, but I don’t give a rats ass because he will give the lefties what they want and orange man worse.”?

  3. Tonight’s White House Correspondents Dinner was digusting display of how liberally left-leaning the press bias truly is. So much material with which to bash the current administration, the current press secretary, the current president, the first lady who insists on being called “doctor”…..yet who was bashed mostly? You got it. Trump. Fox News. Republicans.

Fake News is the Enemy of the People.

Screw all of you Washington corrupt press corps. Especially the unbelievably awful Jen Puhsaki.

    1. Jill Biden earned her doctorate in Education: she IS entitled to the title “doctor”, unlike Trump’s former stripper wife. Yes, “fake news is the enemy of the people”–the fake news put out by Fox being a prime example. The BIG LIE is the worse fake news we’re dealing with right now: all due to the ego of a fat man who is delusional: thinks he’s attractive, successful, well-loved, and therefore couldn’t possibly have lost the election he DID lose.

      1. Bill Cosby has a doctorate in education – do you call him Dr. Cosby ?

      2. Grow up. The honorific of ‘Doctor’ is limited —for reasons that are obvious to those not married to infantile tantrums and laughable illiteracy and divorced from common sense and emotional maturity, ahem, cough cough—to those with medical degrees. hard to imagine that there are people so dense and consumed by hatred that they can’t work out that when a pilot asks is there’s a doctor on board, in response to a medical emergency, dear, they really don’t want an airhead, elder-abuser like Jill, do they? Melania Trump—an immigrant, tsk-tsk, how bigoted of you—is fluent in and literate in at least 5 languages. Jill can’t even write a *thesis* that is coherent or that rises to the level of a very mediocre high school sophomore. You speak as one obsessed that her crush will have nothing to do with her because he has a gorgeous, literate wife, lol. Projection, lol. And…er…cowardly, hateful voters who are so morally bankrupt that they will vote for a man legendary for his corruption, stupidity, and dementia, are not credible critics of anything. That *fat man* gave you nice cuts in taxes, energy independence, renewed cordiality with leaders who have historically treated us with enmity and aggression, low gas and oil prices, peace in the Middle East, Grow up and get yourself an education, preferably a rigorous one, rather than one that gives lazy illiterates *doctorates*.

        1. “[Trump] gave you nice cuts in taxes . . .”

Good list, to which I would add: Made a pro-America spirit popular, again. Exuded what it means to have a backbone.

“. . . rises to the level of a very mediocre high school sophomore.”

Maybe. If graded on a curve, among a class of illiterates.

      3. Unfortunately your hatred is all that could be heard or read from your post. Failure was its only option.

  4. AS IF THERE IS ANYTHING LEFT TO SALVAGE

The singular American failure has been and continues to be the judicial branch, with emphasis on the Supreme Court.

The entire American welfare state, and oppressive tyranny are unconstitutional, and must have been immediately and vigorously struck down long ago by the judicial branch.

The solution is impeachment and conviction, and comprehensive repeal, or kinetic “fundamental transformation.”

The Constitution severely limits and restricts government, not the people.

America must be taken back to the future of 1789: The Constitution, the Bill of Rights, the vote restricted by States, and restricted, accretive, homogeneous and assimilable immigration (i.e. Naturalization Acts of 1790, 1795, 1798 and 1802, four iterations).

Stop the vacuous caterwauling and adhere to the admonitions of the Founders: “Keep it” and “throw off.”

    – Ben Franklin
    ___________

“But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to THROW OFF such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.”

    – Declaration of Independence, 1776

  5. The Reich Ministry for Public Enlightenment and Propaganda (Reichsministerium für Volksaufklärung und Propaganda; RMVP), also known simply as the Ministry of Propaganda (Propagandaministerium), was responsible for controlling the content of the press, literature, visual arts, film, theater, music and radio in Nazi Germany.
The ministry was created as the central institution of Nazi propaganda shortly after the party’s national seizure of power in January 1933. In the Hitler cabinet it was headed by Propaganda Minister Joseph Goebbels, who exercised control over all German mass media and creative artists through his ministry and the Reich Chamber of Culture (Reichskulturkammer), which was established in the fall of 1933.

  6. The British declared that no misinformation would be allowed. In consequence, because the founding fathers lived in a nation where no criticism of the crown was allowed they conceived the idea of free speech and codified it into law as part of the founding of a free nation. We have people in our nation who have never lived under the boot of tyranny trying to tell us that there is no danger in a Disinformation Board. They should ask the opinion of people who have come here from nations that allow no freedom of speech for their opinion. Then again, perhaps they just don’t want to know. It is more likely that they just consider these people just part of the groveling masses. Or part of the basket of the deplorables.

  7. I couldn’t believe that the feckless buffoon that runs DHS announced in a congressional hearing that they have created a “Disinformation Governance Board” and no one said “are you freaking kidding me” – under what authority or under what imagined constitutional basis can you do this. There is no exception to the first amendment rights to freedom of speech.

In a Supreme Court case on the issue, Matal v. Tam (2017), the justices unanimously reaffirmed that there is effectively no “hate speech” exception to the free speech rights protected by the First Amendment and that the U.S. government may not discriminate against speech on the basis of the speaker’s viewpoint.

Clear and present danger was a doctrine adopted by the Supreme Court of the United States to determine under what circumstances limits can be placed on First Amendment freedoms of speech, press, or assembly. The test was replaced in 1969 with Brandenburg v. Ohio’s “imminent lawless action” test.

The blatant, brazen ignoring of the law and the constitution is just so outrageous as to raise the spectrum of Impeachment.

It is now a Board under the control of DHS that will determine what is true and acceptable speech to be aired on a public platform. Like the CCP’s “Ministry of Truth”

  8. We should not let Jankowicz get all the attention. It’s the DGB that’s the monster here, not her. Sure, she’s a brilliant addition to the Censorship movement, but she’ll only be the front for it. We need more guidance in how the Constitution can protect us from the policies they want to inflict. Chuck Schumer isn’t as pretty as her, but he’s more dangerous because of that.
