“Kidnapping is a Thing”: MSNBC Continues False Claim that DeSantis is Kidnapping Migrants

I have been writing about the claim of Hillary Clinton and others that the transportation of migrants to places like Martha’s Vineyard is “literally human trafficking” and other crimes. Despite the utter lack of legal basis for these allegations, major media has continued to air such claims. This weekend, MSNBC’s Tiffany Cross and MSNBC regular (and past writer for Above the Law and the Nation) Elie Mystal repeated the false claim that the trips constitute kidnapping.Mystal responded to Cross’ claim that the trip constitute “kidnapping” with a diatribe against “Republican fascists.” He then added

“What I believe is happening here is kidnapping…kidnapping is a thing. Kidnapping by trick is a thing. Telling people that you are going to take them one place and sending them someplace else is a form of kidnapping.”

Indeed, kidnapping “is a thing,” just not this thing.

As noted in a column this weekend, this claim was also made by Gov. Gavin Newsom.  It is legally absurd. Kidnapping requires that the culprit “unlawfully seizes, confines, inveigles, decoys, kidnaps, abducts, or carries away and holds for ransom or reward or otherwise any person.” There is nothing unlawful in conveying individuals who are lawfully in the country pending their immigration hearings; the trips are voluntary, and most migrants appear eager to accept free passage to cities like New York or Chicago.

Mystal also analogized the migrants to teenagers: “Imagine Ron DeSantis goes up to a group of white teenagers, offers them some candy and says, ‘Hey, I’m gonna take you to Disney World if you get in my van.’ And then Ron DeSantis drives them to Bush Gardens.”  Such analogies are insulting to adults who elect to accept free transport to cities like Chicago or New York. These are vulnerable individuals but these trips are only being offered to adults to decide if they want to take advantage of the free transportation.

It is reminiscent of the recently deleted tweet by NBC analogizing migrants to “trash.” The trash analogy seems far worse but the suggestion that these migrants are like minors or teens being lured by candy is pretty insulting. These are adults who are clearly in desperate situations but they are not like children or teenagers unable to decide whether to remain near the border or accept a flight to another city.  Would Mystal make the same claim of being “lured” to the country to cross illegally? While there have been alleged misrepresentations, those allegations have not been proven and there has not been evidence of any systemic misrepresentations. Thus far, these transfers appear consensual, including signed or express acceptance of the free transportation. There are rational reasons why migrants would prefer to go to cities like New York rather than remain along the border given the huge influx of migrations.

Mystal has previously caused uproars for controversial claims from accusing a senator of wanting to murder Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson to his continued attacks on a high school student even after he was cleared of a false race-based story. He has called the Constitution “trash” and previously stated that white, non-college-educated voters supported Republicans because they care about “using their guns on Black people and getting away with it.” He has also lashed out at “white society” and explained how he strived to maintain a “whiteness free” life in the pandemic. He also called all Republicans “white supremacists.”

However, it is the misrepresentation of the criminal law that is most concerning.  There are good-faith reasons to oppose these trips as a political stunt. That does not make them federal crimes.  The effort to bend and twist the criminal code for such political purposes is a dangerous trend. You can denounce these transfers without trying to criminalize such policies.

In legal analysis, accuracy is also “a thing.” We do not always get it right but it requires a modicum of objectivity. It is not that our personal views are not expressed in what we wish might happen. However, calling these trips “kidnapping” is to take a flight from one’s legal senses.

  1. Look at the bright side. The compassionate Governor of Massachusetts and liberals of Martha’s Vineyard have now shown governors and burghers throughout the U.S. the most humane way to bestow kindness and tender loving care on all the migrants the Biden administration is quietly airlifting to towns all across the U.S.: Have the National Guard round them up and gently persuade them to live on U.S. military bases until their cases can be heard in court and a decision made on their asylum claims.
It is so much more humanitarian than the previous administrations Remain-in-Mexico cruelty!
Much easier to distribute the free iPhones and debit cards too.

  2. Wake the *uck up. This is not the embarrassment to the lefty virtue signalers it appears to be. We’ve gone from enforcing the Remain in Mexico immigration policy, to not just a remain in the United States immigration policy, but how American taxpayers should accommodate the travel desires of these illegal immigrants.

What’s next? Use eminent domain to raze the suburbs and build multi-family housing for these people?

    1. First of all, no one is “illegal.” Second, these people had completed a significant part of the asylum process such that they were released into this country by DHS.

      1. “…THE RECONSTRUCTION OF A SOCIAL WORLD.”

How long will actual Americans allow the hyphenate invasion which is “fundamentally transforming the United States of America?”

Roe v Wade was overturned retroactively because it wasn’t constitutional and “Crazy Abe” Lincoln’s Marxist dictatorship must be overturned retroactively because it isn’t constitutional.

Abraham Lincoln espoused the principles of Marx in 1837 and was Karl Marx’s “…earnest of the epoch…” leading America toward “…the RECONSTRUCTION of a social world.”

  3. I’m surprised by the comments of Concerned Citizen and Anonymous (the “holy” one). Why aren’t they celebrating the vacation awarded to the illegal aliens by Governor DeSantis? Every single illegal alien was delighted to be in the prestigious, luxurious, and sumptuous Martha’s Vineyard. I would think that they would be urging the fine residents of Martha’s Vineyard to build the illegal aliens free housing and to give them free food, free medical care, free education, and free transportation.

But rather than do those things, Concerned Citizen and Anonymous (the “hold” one) were happy to see the illegal aliens kicked out of Martha’s Vineyard. And then they want to imprison Governor DeSantis for giving Martha’s Vineyard’s residents the blessed gift of illegal aliens. If I did not know any better, I’d say that Concerned Citizen and Anonymous (the “holy” one) are elitist, racist, hateful, and hypocritical scoundrels, instead of the warm, loving, compassionate, and humanitarian people that they have claimed to be at every opportunity.

  4. Jonathan: You say what Govs Abbott and DeSantis did was not “kidnapping” but just offering “free transportation to cities like Chicago and New York” and “these transfers appear consensual, including signed or express acceptance of the free transportation” and only “adults” were involved. There are several problems with your analysis.

First, there were children among those transported to northern cities. How could a child expressly consent to such transfers? Second, the migrants were deceived and lied to to get them on the busses and planes. They were told they would get their immigration status expedited and jobs when they arrived. And they were even lied to as to where they were going. One group of migrants was told they were going to Boston but they ended up in Martha’s Vineyard. In order to be “consensual” there must be “informed consent”. You should know that. Any waivers signed by the migrants would be void under these circumstances. Migrants were also given the wrong agency to change their addresses–probably to ensure the migrants were removed when they failed to change their addresses with the proper agency. Third, you cite a definition of “kidnapping” but don’t cite your source. There may be other statues involved relating to transporting asylum seekers across state lines using fraud and deceit. It’s too early to tell what ligation may be pursued.

Finally, you lightly dismiss what was was a cynical political stunt and using migrants as a pawn by Abbott and DeSantis. Using other innocent human beings seeking asylum for such purposes is the part you missed and that’s the despicable part!

    1. Thank you for even trying to bring light into Turley’s BS, but please understand he reinforces the Cult 45 because he’s gone to deep into the MAGA world. Turley does it for the money, they believe it, because they want to believe it.

      1. Fishwings: I understand. Turley feeds into the anti-immigration hysteria in this country we see reflected in this blog. He knows what Abbott and DeSantis did was a cruel political stunt but he refuses to say it openly. So he refers to “good faith reasons to oppose these trips” and they cites only Dick Durbin. It’s a cop out! He knows that to openly call out Abbott and DeSantis would run counter to the racism we see on Fox every day where he is employed to offer “legal analysis”. When Tucker Carlson spews out racist rants against migrants Turley has to appear the next day. He is not about to jeopardize his gig and it gets him face time with millions of MAGA supporters. He knows which side his bread is buttered on!

        1. Dennis, you feed into the hypocrisy so prevalent on the left. Biden is shipping people all over the country, perhaps illegally, since these people are illegal. When a governor does the same and sends the illegals to a sanctuary state, you become crazy.

DeSantis has convened a grand jury, so based on your hypocritical logic, that means criminality. In this case, it probably does, but in most cases, you mention it is craziness.

Continue telling us how sending 50 illegals into a life of luxury in a sanctuary city is the equivalent of the murder and torture of half the world’s Jewish population.

  5. I have no problem with JT discussing and criticizing Mystal’s comments on this transporting migrants issue, but including a whole paragraph on many unrelated statements and links by Mystal seems a bit unnecessary, distracting, and piling on.

  6. To invoke the Kyle Rittenhouse case and paraphrase Johnny Cochran, if they cross a state line, then it’s a federal crime.

  7. Texas has a border Florida has an ocean – and they get millions to protect it. This is all GOP propaganda, trying to change the narrative before the midterms. it ain’t working!

  8. Professor Turley is wrong. Under our esteemed Two-Tier System of Justice, Governor Ronald DeSantis has, indeed, engaged in “human trafficking,” “kidnapping,” and “violations of the Man Act.” Preeminent legal scholars Hillary Clinton, Tiffany Cross, Elie Mystal, Andrew Weismann, and Laurence H. Tribe have so decreed. Moreover, these preeminent legal scholars closely adhere to the sacred and holy principles of truth and justice that have been set down by two of the world’s foremost authorities on such matters:

“Show me the man and I’ll show you the crime”–Lavrentiy Beria

“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.”–Joseph Goebbels

    1. Sorry, I meant to type “the Mann Act.”

That said, although the above legal scholars are on sounding legal footing, I still remain puzzled. Why aren’t the Democrat mega-millionaires at Martha’s Vineyard welcoming the illegal aliens into their city with open arms? They should be building them free housing and giving them free food, free medical care, free education, and free transportation.

But rather than do those things, they kick them out and pursue legal options against Florida for giving them the blessed gift of illegal aliens. If I did not know any better, I’d say that the Democrats are elitist, racist, hateful, and hypocritical scoundrels, instead of the warm, loving, compassionate, and humanitarian people that they always tell everybody that they are.

      1. What no one seems to understand — and the huge tactical mistake by deSantis — is that the “Democrat mega millionaires” left Martha’s Vineyard before Labor Day (as they do every year).

        1. Dennis Byron: Why is that a mistake? Was he supposed to wait until next year?

Read the headlines which feature crazy leftists screaming about kidnapping and Nazis. That tells everyone that the DeSantis bomb hit its mark.

  9. It seems like MSNBC uses this Mystal to make propositions and offer opinions that are clownish as if they are afraid to say it themselves but they still want it thrown about. The term eludes me at the moment, for this type of racism. If not racism, it’s certainly using someone who lacks the self-awareness to know what he looks like when he offers this type of inane suggestion and it’s not the first time I have seen him used this way.

    1. cunaeus,

We’ve never seen your name before. Just popped out of nowhere?

It’s funny how your name has the same, stupid ring to it as so many on this blog with similar politics and writing style. But we’re not allowed to say, Blog St00ge’.

      1. RE:”It’s funny how your name has the same, stupid ring to it..” Always the one for elegance and style, aren’t you.

      2. “We’ve never seen . . .”

Who is this “we” you keep referring to?

Are we all just your obedient collective, and you’re our Voice?

  10. More Turley BS: “These are vulnerable individuals but these trips are only being offered to adults to decide if they want to take advantage of the free transportation.” These people were LIED TO about jobs and housing having been arranged at their destination, and are being used as political pawns, which is wrong. Inducing someone to get on a bus, train or airplane based on a lie is legally and morally wrong, regardless of what title is used. At least Turley admits that it’s not illegal to come the US and seek asylum. Therefore, these people who arrive and request asylum are not “illegal”. Those who sneak in and don’t turn themselves in and ask for asylum are illegals. There are millions of “illegals” here now, and they’re not hard to find–look at any roofing company nonunion construction, landscaping, nanny, housekeeping or other business relying on unskilled labor.

The massive migration of people from south of the border is a problem, but not a new one. They come here for JOBS and because the US is a better place to live than Venezuela, for example, and if the US wants to stop the massive migration of people from south of the border, it needs to enforce the laws on hiring people without proper credentials. Obviously, the US cannot take in all of Venezuela. Then, there’s the fact that coyotes LIE to these people and tell them that Biden will allow them to stay. Wealthy Republicans, whose massive profits are made on businesses like hotels, landscaping, housekeeping and other businesses that rely on unskilled labor, don’t want to stop the endless flow of people from south of the border. They work cheap, don’t demand overtime or benefits, don’t file unemployment or workers comp claims, and will put up with all sorts of unpleasant and even toxic working conditions American citizens won’t. So long as there are jobs, they’ll keep on coming. Republicans will, however, keep politicizing the problem and even lie about it, calling our borders “open”, which they aren’t.

    1. Only “wealthy republicans”? No wealthy democrats “whose massive profits are made on businesses like hotels, landscaping, housekeeping and other businesses that rely on unskilled labor, don’t want to stop the endless flow of people from south of the border.”? Your argument loses all pretense is neutrality with hyper partisan statements like that. But we do know wealthy democrats don’t want to stop the endless flow of new voters.

    2. Natacha: Like you know what these people were promised. You don’t. The citizens of the states really know almost nothing about what is going on behind the scenes with the illegal “trash” (a liberal term quoted by NBC) being allowed to travel all over the country. They should have zero claim to anything. But if they can claim anything, why not a happy home in Martha’s Vineyard? Is that just a little too close to home for you? Brownsville, Texas would be better? Uh huh, sure.

  11. “KIDNAPPING IS A THING”

And propagating nonsense is a strategy employed by enemies.

When he violated existing immigration law, the Naturalization Act of 1802, and failed to compassionately repatriate illegal aliens created by the illegitimate and unconstitutional emancipation proclamation, “Crazy Abe” Lincoln illegally and unconstitutionally installed an inimical, 3-million-man, alien, enemy army in the then “fundamentally forming” United States.

When it overturned Roe v Wade, the Supreme Court acted retroactively, by 50 years, to correct the illicit, unconstitutional act of the Supreme Court of 1973.

The Supreme Court must now act retroactively, by 150 years, to correct all of the illicit, unconstitutional acts of “Crazy Abe” Lincoln.

Indeed, “Crazy Abe’s” legions of affirmative action poets and laureates, such as those quoted herein, are direct and mortal enemies of the “fundamentally formed” United States of America.

  12. RE: “You can denounce these transfers without trying to criminalize such policies.” Mystal’s utterances are another tale told by an idiot and do certainly NOT merit the time being wasted on them that we will never get back. There are times when non-descripts such as he, and their followers need to be left to drown in their own cesspools without any hope of rescue.

  13. I would be happy to keep the migrants on Martha’s Vineyard and expropriate the mansions for emergency housing since the summer population has likely left. I would also love to send the summer population of Martha’s Vineyard to northern Mexico with only the clothes on their backs and with no access to their assets which also have been seized to pay for the mass migration. After all they should be willing to pay the ultimate sacrifice (financially) to support their sanctuary state. I thought that was what liberalism was all about. I would bet the migrants are far less insufferable than the usual Vineyard inhabitants.

  14. “KIDNAPPING IS A THING”

That’s like saying the legislative branch classifies materials. It doesn’t. Classification and declassification of materials is an exclusive function of the executive branch. No legislation to affect classification or declassification of material of the executive branch is constitutional. The legislative branch has no power to usurp the power of the executive branch. Power of the executive branch may be transferred to the legislative branch solely through amendment. The legislative branch may attempt to impeach a sitting president for “…Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.” Eccentric ideations do not bear.

  15. Perhaps you should read the statute on human trafficking. I’ve already quoted in in another comment on this topic so I won’t repeat it here. The lying and subtle coercion used by DeSantis and his Texas accomplice seem to fit the bill. Of course as they are Republicans we know that what ever they do it must be right and legal…
It’s appalling using human beings as weapons.

    1. InJustice Holmes, do you mean so called people in cages used by Democrats as weapons? You know the ones who were in cages provided by Obama. You do remember those people who were used as political weapons.

    2. Justice Holmes: That we are even having a textual conversation about human trafficking is absurd. The liberals from Martha’s Vineyard and everywhere else simply do not want illegals in their back yard. My back yard? “Well, of course!” you would say. Because somehow magically I can create the infrastructure to take care of four million illegals that the superstars at Martha’s Vineyard simply cannot, or dare I say, choose not, to do. You folks want to make this about DeSantis and rotten, evil conservatives. It’s not. It’s about blatant, in-your-face hypocrisy of the most obvious kind.

    3. You can make whatever Human Trafficking claims you want regarding DeSantis and Abbott.

But ultimately any arguments you make will equally apply to Biden.

We are all used to idiotic left wing nut incredibly broad interpretations of the law.
But even ordinary people understand – “what is good for the the goose is good for the gander”.

The rule of law requires following the law litterally and narrowly as written.

But we all ultimately grasp that the purpose of criminal laws – such as human trafficking laws.
is the protection of people violence done by others.

We know as an example that running a strip club is not the same is kidnapping women from eastern europe and locking them up in a brothel – even though it is likely that we bend our minds a bit and find all elements of the crime in both.

No one was being harmed by being transported to Martha’s vineyard.
They were as free at the end as at the start if not more so.
Further those at the end were not in a joint criminal venture with those at the start.

DeSantis did not go to venezeula to pick these people up from kidnappers, he did not transport them to Martha’s Vineyard to be held by Brothel owners. They came to the US freely, they traveled freely, and they were free when they arrived in Martha’s vineyard. DeSantis did not sell them or receive anything from Martha’s Vineyard in return for providing them.
Indeed MV did not want them.

Greyhound and Delta are not guilty of human trafficing, Neither is DeSantis.
Depsite absurd left wing nut claims.

Crimes require the use of force with the intention of harming.
There was no force used, and the only harm was to the Ego’s of those in Martha’s vienyard.

      1. “ The rule of law requires following the law litterally and narrowly as written.”

Based upon that rationale Desantis illegally spent taxpayer money to send those migrants to Martha’s Vineyard. He used money specifically meant to send migrants FROM Florida. Not Texas. The Florida law only applies to migrants in Florida. He spent Florida taxpayer money to send migrants from Texas to Massachusetts.

He is in violation of Florida law. He didn’t follow it literally and as it was written.

        1. RE:”He is in violation of Florida law. He didn’t follow it literally and as it was written. Daft as usual….but keep trying. Pursuade a jury that if evidence proves that an individual unlawfully entered the United States from Mexico, as Charlotte clearly states why, is sent to Florida by the Fed, as a presumed final destination, is not accepted as the State assumes the right not to, and is forwarded ultimately to Massachusetts, which declares itself a sanctuary state, that the individual was NOT sent from Florida.

        2. 1). These people are not migrants.
          They are illegal immigrants.
Migration is a seasonal movement between two places.

“Based upon that rationale Desantis illegally spent taxpayer money to send those migrants to Martha’s Vineyard. He used money specifically meant to send migrants FROM Florida. Not Texas. The Florida law only applies to migrants in Florida. He spent Florida taxpayer money to send migrants from Texas to Massachusetts.

He is in violation of Florida law. He didn’t follow it literally and as it was written.”

Why am I to beleive that you know either the facts or the law ?

Regardless, if you beleive DeSantis violated FL law – sue him.

      2. John, you provide excellent explanations, but people like Holmes do not think, jump to conclusions and worst of all are unable to learn.

    4. RE: “It’s appalling using human beings as weapons.” As border control advocates have been saying since Biden shit-canned the effort the day he took office. Of course, in that he and his miscreants are Democrats, we know that what ever they do must be right and legal even thought it stands in flagrant violation of the promulgated Federal law. which the POTUS is sworn to uphold, so help him G-d.

      1. Regret they typo: I am pleased to take credit for my comments. Hence, a good thing is worth repeating…. “RE: “It’s appalling using human beings as weapons.” As border control advocates have been saying since Biden shit-canned the effort the day he took office. Of course, in that he and his miscreants are Democrats, we know that what ever they do must be right and legal even thought it stands in flagrant violation of the promulgated Federal law. which the POTUS is sworn to uphold, so help him G-d.

      1. He’s an illegal alien. The Naturalization Act of 1802 was in full force and effect on January 1, 1863. When he violated existing immigration law, the Naturalization Act of 1802, and failed to compassionately repatriate illegal aliens created by the illegitimate and unconstitutional emancipation proclamation, “Crazy Abe” Lincoln illegally and unconstitutionally installed an inimical, 3-million-man, alien, enemy army in the then “fundamentally forming” United States, which was a gross dereliction of duty, a crime of high office and treason for which “Crazy Abe” must have been impeached and convicted.

    1. Careful:

It’s because of Don King we have ‘Illegal Search and Seizure’ Laws:

      Mapp v. Ohio – 367 U.S. 643 (1961)
      https://www.clevelandmemory.org/legallandmarks/mapp/illegalsearch.html

As I recall a Bomb went off near a City Bus by Don Kings Apt., He ran from the area, and through Dollree Mapp’s Apartment (he was suspected to have been staying there at the time), and escaped arrest.

The Police came to Dollree Mapp ‘s Apt. and wanted to search the premises. She resisted and they proceeded without a Warrant.
They trumped-up (sorry about the pun) charges on Her which led to an arrest, which was contested in Court(s).

Thus: Mapp v. Ohio – 367 U.S. 643 (1961) of which we now have codified Search and Seizure Laws.

That said, If ANYTHING else was taken from Mar-a-Lago which was not ‘listed in the Warrant’, and can be found to be an Illegal Search and Seizure,
Donald Trump may owe it to Don King (via Ms. Dollree Mapp) a debt of gratitude.

See: What goes around … comes a round. Eventually

  16. Professor, as it’s your 2nd column writing about “sending 50 undocumented migrants from Florida to Martha’s Vineyard”: Why did you miss the underlying topic again?:

    A. During President Biden’s tenure 4.9 million people, the equivalent of the entire population of Ireland, improper entering US.:

    1. What did the government do last 19 months to keep our country safe?
    2. What’s your take about the protection of our onstitutional rights (Art 4 Sec 4?
    3. To which intend are government’s
    * DHS (lead by Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas),
    * DOJ (lead by AG Merrick Garland) to uphold the rule of law, and to keep our country safe (in ’21, fentanyl, with a high profit margin) accounted for most drug overdose death), and
    * CBP (lead by Commissioner Chris Magnus [1]) to provide border security, immigration, customs, among many others
    part or the solution?

    B. Since summer 2021 [2] we know that the government organized ground and air transport under the cover of darkness.
    4. How did some of these improper entered people traveled from the border towns to Jacksonville, FL which is no less than 1,500 miles away?
    5. Who checked if among those chosen to relocate were no drug dealers, sex traffickers, terrorists or other criminals?
    6. Why were undocumented passengers allowed to board a plane?

    [1] https://www.nytimes.com/2017/12/06/opinion/tucson-police-immigration-jeff-sessions.html

    1. Charlotte, Honey: someone who arrives at our border, turns themselves in, and seeks asylum they are NOT in this country “improperly”. Our laws ALLOW people to come here and seek asylum. So, the entire premise of your piece is just wrong.

How would you suggest those seeking asylum be vetted for the crimes listed, when places like Venezuela don’t have the same kinds of identification that we have that can be validated and don’t have the same kind of verifiable criminal recordkeeping systems we have? How would we know whether a Venezuelan birth certificate was forged, or whether someone is using another’s identification? What, exactly, do you expect our government to do? Those seeking asylum are having a legal case number assigned and will have a trial to determine whether they are entitled to asylum under US law. What else would you expect Joe Biden or his administration do? How do you stop people from coming here? So long as hotels, restaurants, housekeeping, nanny, and other unskilled jobs are available, they’ll keep on coming.

You rhetorically ask what the Biden Administration has done to “keep our country safe”. What makes you think that any of those coming here seeking asylum have made our country less safe? If you want to worry about our collective safety, worry about your hero who stole TS/SCI documents after American voters rejected him, and his attempted coup and over 60 lawsuits failed to keep him in power. What might he do or has he already done, to get revenge, given that he is a malignant narcissist?

      1. RE: “Charlotte, Honey” Charlotte, honey, notice that Natacha goes to a ‘whataboutism’ in her commercial break for her closing. Therefore, we take the opportunity to remind her that there are an estimated 500,000 so-called ‘gotaways’ who will never have to stand for the asylum process because they are ‘gone’.As for those whom Natacha alleges as having a legal case number filed, the number who will return for the hearing has yet to be known, given the millions out there on deck, so to speak. According to Natacha, we are to be tolerant, patient, and turn our attention to more pressing issues of national security and pray that in the fullness of time, we have a full disclosure of the contents of the Hunter Biden laptop and the conspiracy of gain which he and his family have been involved in at the expense of the citizenry lo these many years. And now, back to our regular program.

        1. Thanks ZZDoc!.

          1. In the meantime, since President Biden took office, “gotaways” jumped to “some 900K” [1]
          2. There is a huge discrepance between “refugees” (20K in fiscal year 2022) and CBP. data. Let alone the unreported cases.
          3. Kari Lake (R-AZ) started airing an explosive 30′ clip saying as Governor she would finish President Trumps Wall, blow up cartell drug tunnel, shoot down cartel drones & deploy troops to stop illegales from entering. It looks like that drugs & health problematic is an hefty issues.
          4. It’s well known (see DEA Intelligence report 1/20) that in China manufactured Fentanyl will be smuggled via Mexico into US. Compared with heroin, it is more potent, has higher profit margins, and, because it is compact, has simpler logistics.
          5. The more issues ocure, there are well founded concerns that President Biden is compromised: As seen via “Laptop from Hell” [2] he used WFP-USA (Chairman: “My son Hunter”) charity as vehicle for business dealings: Though then VP claimed he didn’t know anything about it, he met up a day or two later: Carlos Slim (among others, largest NYT shareholde, Miguel Aleman Velasco & his son Magnani at living room of the Naval Observatory on 11/19/15. Among more than 100 events scheduled in Hunter’s diary at the VP’s residence…

        2. People who fail to show up for a scheduled hearing, after receiving proper notice, are subject to arrest and prompt deportation. They will never be allowed to stay.

NO ONE CARES about Hunter Biden or his laptop, but most Americans DO care about your hero stealing TS/SCI documents, failing to secure them, lying about returning them and politicizing the DOJ being forced to compel their return.

          1. RE:”They will never be allowed to stay.” They will never be found! “NO ONE CARES about Hunter Biden or his laptop, ” Guess again! Have patience! Events will prove one way or the other.

      2. “someone who arrives at our border, turns themselves in, and seeks asylum they are NOT in this country “improperly”. Our laws ALLOW people to come here and seek asylum. So, the entire premise of your piece is just wrong.

I stand to my assumption: During President Biden’s tenure 4.9 million people, the equivalent of the entire population of Ireland, improper entering.US:”

!. All persons arriving at a port-of-entry to the US are subject to inspection by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers.
2.All persons who don’t use a port-of-enty to the US (eg sneaking accross the border) or entering through immigration inspection under false pretenses are violating federal immigration laws as they entered US unlawfully.
        3. Improper entering the US is a federal misdemeanor and is punishable by law.
        4. According to 8 U.S. Code § 1325 he punishment for improper entering the U.S. as a first-time offender is either a fine from between $50 up to $250 or a prison sentence of up to 6 months. Repeat offenders are likely to be fined twice as much as the first attempt and may face a new prision sentence of up to 2 years.
5.President Trump established a zero-tolerance for ilmproper entering US. President Biden’ DoJ instructed prosecutors to act on the merits of individual cases.
        6. Within 1 year of last arrival in the US applicants should file Form I-589 with USCIS. Refugee status depends on 101(a)(42) of INA. A decision should be made within 180 days.
        7. In 10/21, President Biden set the annual refugee cap at 125K. According to RPC, in fiscal year ’22 arrived 20K refugees in US.
        8. Comparing “Southwest Border Encounters” [1] between Trump & Biden administration, there are significant differences. Why?
        9. Biden administration is flouting public charge laws to break down barriers in the immigration system and eliminate excessive burdens in the application process. [1]
