MSNBC Meltdown: “Our Children will be Arrested and Conceivably Killed” if the GOP Wins Midterm Elections

Last night, President Joe Biden returned to his earlier claim that his political opponents are fascists seeking to establish authoritarianism in the United States. While the hellish red background is gone from his controversial Philadelphia address, the message remains: a vote for the GOP is a vote for tyranny. Despite polls showing citizens view the President as inciting political unrest and potential violence with such attacks, the theme was quickly picked up and magnified in the media. Presidential historian Michael Beschloss actually suggested on MSNBC that we could be just days away from an authoritarian hellscape if the GOP prevails in midterm elections — raising the specter of our children being taken away and killed.

If you thought that the election was being decided on the top polling issues of the economy, crime, and classic kitchen table issues, think again.

On MSNBC’s “All In with Chris Hayes,” Beschloss went all in on the  “democracy-or-death pitch” before the midterms:

“[S]ix nights from now, we could all be discussing violence all over this country. There’s signs that may happen, may God forbid, that losers will be declared winners by fraudulent election officers, or secretary of state candidates, or governors, or state legislatures…

We could be six days away from losing our rule of law, and losing a situation where we have elections that we all can rely on. You know, those are the foundation stones of a democracy…

Joe Biden is saying the same thing tonight, and a historian 50 years from now – if historians are allowed to write in this country and if they are still free publishing houses and a free press – which I’m not certain of – but if that is true, a historian will say what was at stake tonight and this week was the fact whether we will be a democracy in the future, whether our children will be arrested and conceivably killed.”

So much for gas prices. The choice is now voting Democratic or lining up your children in front of a firing squad. (Strangely, it will only be our children and not adults targeted by the roaming GOP goon squads). However, it will all be “off-the-books.” After all, Beschloss warned Hayes, “we both write history, you and I” and he is not certain that “historians [will be] allowed to write in this country” if Republicans gain a majority in Congress.

In other words, there may be no history books, no living children, and no democracy, but feel free to vote your pocketbook, America.

At the same time, Democrats and the J6 Committee are pursuing those who engaged in similar inflammatory rhetoric leading up to the January 6th riot. The airways are also now filled with warnings from leaders such as Hillary Clinton that the midterm elections are about to be “stolen.” Likewise, many are campaigning to ban books by figures like Justice Barrett in the name of protecting free speech.

The alarm raised over many of these GOP candidates is particularly ironic since Democrats spent millions to support the most conservative candidates in Republican primaries. Those candidates (now denounced as election deniers) prevailed in their primaries with Democratic campaign support and could now win in states like New Hampshire.

It is all perfectly Orwellian, but it is not particularly effective. With the over-the-top rhetoric and open bias in the media, the public is tuning out many in the press (which is at record lows in trust). This is becoming a type of primal scream session among friends, cathartic but confined.

President Biden was widely criticized for his Philadelphia speech, but he and others are now doubling down on this type of reckless rhetoric.  The likely effect will be to incite further violence and to give license to the most unhinged in our society.

Our election was hijacked. There is no question. Congress has a duty to #ProtectOurDemocracy & #FollowTheFacts.

Dennis mentioned firing away slings and arrows. Implicit in his declaration was inciting violence, which brings us to Paul Pelosi’s unfortunate attack due to his wife’s rhetoric of unleashing violence on Americans.

    Thanks Dennis for the verbiage

  2. Jonathan: You have studiously avoided the topic of Trump’s growing legal troubles. So on this slow Saturday before the midterms let me bring everyone up to date.

On Thursday Judge Engoron, who is presiding over the case brought by NT AG Letitia James against the Trump Organization (TO), appointed an independent monitor to oversee the finances of the Trumpster’s criminal enterprise. This will prevent Trump from trying to hide his assets in the probable event that a jury finds the TO owes $250 million in back taxes. Trump has already tried to evade responsibility by trying to empty the TO into a new entity called “Trump Organization II”. Trump’s lawyers also demanded that the case be assigned to another judge. Engoron was having none of it and called appointing the monitor “the most prudent and narrowly tailored mechanism to ensure there is no further fraud and illegality”.

In typical fashion Trump lashed out at Engoron: “A puppet judge of the New York Attorney General and other sworn enemies of President Trump [he still thinks he’s president!] and the Republican Party has issued a ruling never before seen anywhere in America [Sorry, Don, it’s done all the time in corporate tax fraud cases]. It is Communism come to our shores”. Sorry again Don, but it’s not “Communism” but the rule of law! If this were not bad enough for Trump the Manhattan DA is also bringing a parallel case accusing Trump of scheming to defraud NT tax authorities for at least 15 years.

With all the lawsuits he is facing Trump is trying to cut his losses. He has just agreed to settle one lawsuit for an undisclosed amount. The suit was originally brought by protesters back in 2015 when they marched in front of Trump Tower to protest Trump’s racist comments about Mexican immigrants. The protesters were beaten up by Trump’s security goons on the sidewalk right in front of Trump Tower. With this settlement Trump has been forced to admit that the sidewalks in front of Trump Tower still belongs to the people!

I know, the usual suspects on this blog don’t want to hear anything negative about the Trumpster–since probably some keep sending money to Trump’s legal defense fund. So it’s embarrassing when I keep pointing out the Emperor has no clothes. So I will suffer the slings and arrows headed my way as a result of this post. Fire away!

  3. Musk “wants to triple the size of his operation in the pine woods just southeast of Berlin–to increase production from the current 2000 cars a day to 5,000. But Musk faces big problems. He needs a lot of water . . .”

So compel everyone to buy an electric vehicle. But don’t make electric vehicles — because, water.

The “climate change” movement remains what it always was: Compulsory deprivation.

    1. Sam: So “climate change” is “compulsory deprivation”? Such a statement shows your limited and myopic thinking. Recognizing the threat of global warming and taking the necessary steps to mitigate its effects does require adjustments to how we do business and where we live. The residents of Florida’s gulf coast are still digging out from Hurricane Ian–the worst hurricane in the state’s history. As the oceans warm caused by global warming hurricanes will become more intense and more destructive. That means people in Fl will no longer be able to build homes on the barrier reefs or on the beach. Even if they could they can’t get insurance. So they will be forced to finding housing further inland. That is not “compulsory deprivation” but recognizing the reality. Do you really think the residents whose homes were destroyed should be allowed to rebuild in the same place? Get real!

When it comes to Musk’s expansion plans for his Tesla factory why does he want so much more water? That’s because Musk is facing stiff competition from BMW, Volkswagen and Mercedes Benz who are increasing their production of electrics. Musk wants to dominate the electric market in Germany and Europe and so he thinks he has to increase production. The problem is that climate change induced droughts in and around Brandenburg are threatening the water supply. Water experts say there is not enough water to go around–especially the 1.4 million cubic meters of water Musk wants every year to expand his factory. Many local residents would welcome more jobs but not at the expense of having drinkable water. The Q for you is: Does Musk’s demand for more water trump the needs of water by local residents?

In equating climate change to “compulsory deprivation”, an either or, you are violating F Scott Fitzgerald’s first principle: “The test of a first-rate intelligence is the ability to hold two opposing ideas in the mind at the same time and still retain the ability to function”.

  4. Jonathan: What you have studiously avoided is any discussion of Trump’s growing legal problems. So. as a public service, let me bring you and everyone on this blog up to date.

On Thursday, Judge Engoron appointed an independent monitor to oversee the finances of the Trump Organization. This will prevent Trump from trying to hide his assets. He has already tried to empty the Organization into another entity called “Trump Organization II”. Trump did this in response to the civil suit brought by NY AG Letitia James which seeks to fine Trump $250 million and prevent him from ever doing business in NY. Judge Engoron called appointing the monitor “The most prudent and narrowly tailored mechanism to ensure there is no further fraud or illegality”. In response Trump lashed out at Engoron: “A puppet judge of the New York Attorney General and other sworn enemies of President [former] Trump and the Republican Party has just issued a ruling never before seen anywhere in America [?]. It is Communism come to our shores”. Trump is desperate so he calls the rule of law “Communism”. James’ civil suit comes just as the criminal case brought by the Manhattan DA is accusing Trump of scheming to defraud NY tax authorities for at least the last 15 years. NY is piling on poor Donald!

But it’s not all sturm und drang for poor Donald. To try to stop the bleeding Trump has agreed to settle another lawsuit brought by protesters who were beaten up by Trump’s goons back in 2015. The protesters were angry about Trump’s racist comments about Mexican immigrants and demonstrated on the sidewalk in front of Trump Tower. The protesters have agreed to settle for an undisclosed amount but Trump has been forced to admit that the sidewalks in front of Trump Tower still belong to the people!

Finally today, November 4th, is the deadline for Trump to respond to the Jan. 6 Committee subpoena for the former president to show up with the requested docs and testify under oath. Will Trump show up? I doubt it. This means the Committee could refer Trump for contempt of Congress. Steve Bannon knows what that looks like. Poor Donald. They are coming for him from all sides.

    1. And yet today Trump has no significant losses.

Republicans will control the house and Senate shortly.
The idiotic nonsense of the J6 committee will be withdrawn.

Bannon will with near certainty win his appeal.

James lawsuit is legal and factual garbage and will not survive the NY Supreme Court much less any federal court.

Yes, it is near certain the Trump organization will cut legal ties to New York – ending the idiocy that James and he ilk are up to.

James’s request and the Judges idiotic order are a violation of the takings clause of the 5th amendment.
      They are DOA probably quickly.

And Yes, The owners of the Trump organization can relocate their business out of hostile states to wherever they please.
I am sure Trump regrets not doing so sooner.

You are free to reside and locate your business in NY if you wish.
      No one is required to.

I would note this also rebuts your idiotic claim about Trump’s legal problems.

He has a problem with a Corrupt prosecutor.
That is self evident – moving his business almost anywhere in the US would solve the problem.

All you establish is that certain relatively small parts of the country have jumped the shark.

      1. The politicization of law is the true reason Amazon chose to not open up a second HQ in New York. AOC was just convenient foil.

    2. What day do you thnk Trump 2024 will officially announce? Cuz it’s happening baby doll.

  5. Jonathan: A lot of column space has been spent on what Elon Musk plans for Twitter. Little noticed is Musk’s plans for his Tesla factory in Brandenburg, Germany. He wants to triple the size of his operation in the pine woods just southeast of Berlin–to increase production from the current 2000 cars a day to 5,000. But Musk faces big problems. He needs a lot of water in a drought-stricken part of the country. The Tesla factory needs 1.4 million cubic meters of water every year–or roughly the amount of water that the local community consumes.

Local residents are concerned that expanding the Tesla factory will result in a major water shortage for the community. Thomas Loeb, a member of Germany’s Ecological Democratic Party says: “The water problems are huge. And it’s getting worse. We’re getting less and less rain. If Tesla keeps needing more, the people will no longer have any drinking water”. But Musk literally laughed off concerns by local residents: “This is completely wrong. There is water everywhere here. Does this seem like a desert to you?”

As climate change creates drought conditions around the world local communities in and around Brandenburg are facing a Hobson’s choice. If they want the jobs created by the expansion of the Tesla factory they may have to give up their right to safe drinking water. Local residents that oppose the factory expansion say Musk is only concerned about making money. One resident said directly to Musk: “Go away with your car. We do not want to have you here. Go to Mars for instance. That would be beautiful”. Musk reportedly responded: ” I welcome your criticism but you will still have to pay $8 for my prime account and I will get all the water I want.”

I think I know why Musk bought Twitter. He wants to control what is said about his worldwide enterprises. Anyone critical of his expansion plans for his factory in Brandenburg will soon find their tweets blocked by Herr Baron Musk. But, hey, Musk has turned Twitter into his own private platform so he gets to do what he wants. Right? But what does this say about “free speech” on Twitter these days or in the future? if Musk’s peddling of the right-wing conspiracy theory about the attack on Paul Pelosi is any indication, those advertisers who don’t want their products associated with racist, homophobic, antisemitic and right-wing conspiracy theories will be heading for the door! Look for that $8 to go up dramatically!

  6. A blithering idiot who has successfully served up the complete agenda and consequences of maintaining the current administration as well as the party and the members of same which support it.

  7. This is a bit off topic, but…

Has anyone else noticed that in the hate infested minds of some of the internet trolls around Turley’s comment threads, some of them think it’s justifiable to fabricate lies about the trolling targets they stalk, and then blame the target for their own trolling based on the lies the troll fabricated? It’s a vicious psychological circle of self delusion that might be aggravated by Histrionic Malevolence Syndrome.

Delusion: noun an idiosyncratic belief or impression that is firmly maintained despite being contradicted by what is generally accepted as reality or rational argument.

Histrionic Malevolence Syndrome which is a personality disorder that causes a person to personally attack others with malice full of strongly negative accusations but with few facts or details to back them up. Histrionic Malevolence Syndrome is closely related to a Histrionic Personality Disorder; however, there is an obsessive over-exaggerated focus on the singular symptom defined “Speaks dramatically with strong opinions, but few facts or details to back them up”.

    1. Many on the right are critical of Turley – arguing issues or points of law.

Those on the left attack him personally – insulting him or attacking his character.

      This distinction goes beyond Turley.

  8. It’s abundantly clear these hyperbolic utterances which defy objective reality have a purpose. This turn is too well-timed and well-coordinated. The question is, what is their purpose? What do they hope to gain?

According to Ron Klain, President Biden has given his “final warning.”

Why would he admonish Americans to patiently wait for results which could take days?

Why would he demand people accept the results? He is forecasted to lose much in this election, so why would he be worried about who he perceives as “violent, anti democracy extremists,” (ie Republicans) not accepting results of an election in which he’s slated to lose a lot?

It doesn’t make sense, unless he knows something more. Perhaps the answer lies in the details of that Executive Order involving 600 federal agencies in our elections- which he has, for months, refused to release?

Time will tell. My gut tells me that after this election, MANY more people will believe perhaps election 2020 wasn’t “free and fair” afterall…

    1. The question is, what is their purpose? What do they hope to gain?

I have the same concerns. When I hear reports that turnout is expected to far exceed previous midterms; that we won’t know the results for days after Tuesday; I picture truckloads of ballots being staged, awaiting orders for delivery early Wednesday morning.

      1. Biden says something… We have to wait until all the legal ballots are counted & that takes time.

That part he likely left out was they need to know the number of legal ballots first so the know how many illegal ballots they have to have.

They are going to cheat, that’s all the have left.

        1. That is why people must vote.

The ability to engage in fraud is inversely proportionate to the margin of victory.

Missing from the we brains of the left is that the Fraud in 2020 – as larges as it was, was still only a fraction of a percent of the vote.

There is pretty damning evidence there was fraud in the California Recall of Gavin Newsome.
But he won by such a large margin that no one even dreamed of challenging the results.
There was not millions of fraudulent votes in CA – but there was many thousand.

There is not a single one of the “swing states” that did not have atleast 200K in ballots with no chain of custody.
I other words we do not know where they came from.

I would further note that though I expect alot of Fraud in 2022 – it will not be the same as 2020. Zuckerburg has not put 1/2 Billion into the election. The ability of Democrats to mount an operation the same scale secretly is radically diminished. People are watching.
While Democrats have ACTIVELY used the law to Thwart that – Poll watchers have been neutered in MI by the Sec State.
And there will with certainty be specific places where fraud will be a factor.

In 2022 Democrats had an advantage – the primary goal of the fraud was to Remove Trump.
They could accomplish that with large scale operations in 6 Counties/Cities that they controlled.

Democrats have a nationwide problem in 2022. They are in Trouble in NY, NH, WA, OR, NV, as well as MI, WI, PA, GA, AZ.

It is pretty much beyond the realm of possibility to flip dozens of house elections in suburbs and rural areas.
It is easier to flip some govenors or Senate elections. But only if the election is very close. And the larger the operation is the easier it is to catch.

Further the measures used in 2020 will not work again in 2022. The Bad news is that TTV has exposed how they tracked ballot harvestors.
But those running the harvesting operation have a problem – they are using people to drop ballots who are not trustworthy.
They needed pics of the ballot drops to verify they didn’t just dump them in the trash and say they went into a drop box.
So now they have to get unsophistated and uneducated people to both use Cellphones to take pictures AND disable all geotraking apps on their phones.

I fully expect fraud in 2022 – but not nearly of the magnitude of 2024.
And again – they KNOW people are watching. Catching a large scale election fraud operation in 2022, would obliterate the claim that the 2020 election was legitimate.

          1. “They needed pics of the ballot drops to verify they didn’t just dump them in the trash and say they went into a drop box.”

That kink should be exploited by Republicans with something like, ‘Drop it in the garbage and get paid, Drop it in the ballot box and go to jail.”

            1. I beleive there will be significant voter Fraud in 2022. Especially in PA and MI.
I doubt there has been an election in my lifetime that PA did not have 200K of fraudulent ballots.

But there will be LESS fraud in 2022 – because people are paying more attention and lightning does not strike twice.

Further int is increasingly looking like few significant elections will be close enough for Fraud to tip them.

The big races to look for Fraud are state wide races – senators, governors, supreme and superior court judges.

Democratic fraud in red or pink or even purple districts is very hard. I do not beleive we saw much of that in 2020.

          2. The Democrats have apparently run out of celebrity support, or at least the mega-bucks kind. They cannot escape the mistakes of a demented, mal0functioning Biden who has left them a trail of corruption they can mine for years to embarrass the Democrats who cannot escape what happens in the press that is beginning to turn on them.

        2. “Despite the fact that third-world countries around the globe are capable of tallying their votes on the same day as their elections, it’s simply not realistic to expect that from the world’s most technologically advanced nation,” Biden shouted with an unnecessary amount of anger to the assembled crowd made up entirely of White House staffers and the media. “Folks, we’ve got to take our time, find out how far behind we are, and wait for the unmarked vans carrying bags full of ballots to arrive in the middle of the night. Then we gotta find out how many times we have to count each ballot. Tomato soup.”
          https://babylonbee.com/news/biden-says-it-may-take-days-for-democrat-votes-to-be-harvested

  9. I sure wish Americans would be privy to who holds these views of conservatives in this administration. These people have a true hatred for people like myself. Years ago, I remember my wife crying about the election of Bill Clinton. I remember asking her what was wrong. I didn’t fully understand back then. I understand now.

  10. I seriously want to know….did Warren Buffett ever own any twitter? I suspect he kept it all in beer and pizza and people! The God father! ! But good to know if he ever fell for twitter…..? That fad. That has no business model except to invade people’s privacy to target them an ad. Creeps we want nothing to do with them….And so totally replaceable by the next outfit doing the same darn thing!…creeping us. I know you love the first amendment….but pp! Are not going to pay for twitter. No one will. And believe me ppl can can do by without them. For years I couldn’t see Facebook marketplace…I’m okay! I hate the platformer who collected my info and cast me out….but I costly him more money than he ever cost me!….we are the assetts…And we are americans….their rise our call ultimately depends on us…we say who falls! And we are saying who fails. Sorry Twitter is in their But why should you care because it’s now private! hello the only thing worse than free speech….is compensated speech!

  11. Voters need to become more savvy.

Democrats remove literature by white authors, like Shakespeare, Harper Lee, Mark Twain, and Faulkner. They claim they want to “decolonize” lesson plans. They seek to make Mayan math valued the same as modern mathematics. Yet when parents objected to the blatantly sexualized books Democrats added to school libraries, they were accused of “book banning.” A book isn’t banned unless it’s blocked from being published or sold. Democrats promoted books in school libraries that graphically described pedophilia, and that encouraged parents to let their kids in the bed with them when they have $ex. They promoted books to young school kids that described being transgender as the best thing ever. They don’t tell them that Jazz is now overweight, suicidal, and incapable of feeling physical pleasure or libido.

Democrats called the 2016 election stolen, and that Russia hacked it. Now they claim that if Republicans question election results or demand an audit, that they’re “election deniers.” In the same conversation where Hillary Clinton condemned those “election deniers”, she claimed the Far Right has plans to “steal the 2024 election.” Which is it, Hillary? You’re a seditionist election denier if you suspect malfeasance, or not?

Democrats only want free speech for themselves, and actively censor everyone else. They spout false information daily, yet accuse the right of misinformation. Russia hoax. Hunter’s laptop story was Russian disinformation. The virus didn’t start in the Wuhan Institute of Virology and you’re a bigot to think so. The vaccine prevents disease and its spread. There are no side effects of the vaccine. Dressing up as a black person for Halloween is blackface, and racist, unless you’re Joy Behar. Joe Biden is sharp as a tack.

    Lies. All lies.

    1. What an elitist historian. I know of ccp direct from my gradfather! I know about Auschwitz from living relatives and neighbors! He thinks in Fifty years? I know about ww1 and ww2 from the horse’s mouth! And I’m barely fifty one. Oral tradition doesn’t need “historians”. Anyone who raised their kid heretofore introduced them at ten years old to the horses mouth! ! So they will have to kill is all off before we shut up. It’s more like 150 years. Plus adl…..never forgets!

  12. OK. Let’s talk about who’s taking children away.

Currently, parents in some states can lose custody of their children if they do not “affirm” that their child can literally change genders. Currently, girls who complain that they feel unsafe, scared, or uncomfortable when a biological boy is given access to their locker rooms, changing rooms, and showers, because he says he’s really a girl with male genitalia, then they are punished. They are kicked off sports teams, denied scholarships, denied college admissions, and harassed.

It has now been proven false that gender affirming care prevents suicides. It’s not true, at all. An activist misrepresented study conclusion and parameters. Among the studies he used, was one which only covered short term feelings right after surgery, and a Dutch study which has never been successfully duplicated. When the British tried, they got different results. That Dutch study did not study everyone who transitions. It only followed those who had receive thorough psychiatric care and screening prior to surgery. Here in the US, it’s dangerous to a psychologist and psychiatrist’s license to question or screen someone who claims they are a different gender. They must affirm every step of the way.

Sadly, people are surgically castrated and sterilized every year in the transgender industry. It is no wonder that it carries a high suicide rate. Democrats have helped push more kids to identify as transgender. Kid shows now feature transgenderism prominently. Blue’s Clues had a drag queen sing for a Gay Pride parade, which featured transgender beavers with mastectomy scars. The Owl House might be the most LGBTQ kids show on the air. This show is for kids aged 7 and up. Within the course of a year, the main character came out as lesbian, every single episode now shows her either kissing, holding hands, or blushing around her girlfriend, her friend has 2 dads, the Owl Lady Eda’s love interest is transgender with the pronouns “them”, the opening montage shows Luz’s mother reading “Life is Not Binary”, and has rainbows everywhere, and all the biological males are portrayed as weak either physically or mentally. This is for kids in the 2nd grade to watch. Kids hear from all angles how special, brave, and popular they will be if they change genders. There are no warnings that it will involve castration, that vaginoplasty will create a permanent wound with hair on the inside that will always be prone to smelly infections, that it’s only cute when they’re kids, that puberty blockers will stunt their penile growth and permanently render them incapable of orgasm, or that they will have a very high risk of suicide. Why not? Because these are scary topics that are not age appropriate for young kids. If the negative consequences are not age-appropriate to discuss, then changing genders should not be promoted to kids so young.

    https://www.dailywire.com/news/researcher-debunks-claim-trans-youths-mental-health-improves-with-gender-affirming-care

Democrats have also exacerbated crime, which steals children from their parents every year. Chicago is gangland central with a mass shooting every week that kills kids. Democrats defunded police, which caused the murder rates to skyrocket. They enable homeless camps, with drug addicts and the mentally ill. They both commit, and are the victim of, crimes more often than average. They created open borders, with over 2.3 million illegal crossings in one year alone. They skip the legal process, which would have screened them for criminal history, terrorist ties, or diseases to be treated. They pay drug cartels about $15,000 each to come over, which has given the violent drug cartels an economy similar to entire nations. Fentanyl steams across the border, killing kids every year. They oppose armed security at schools, ignoring all the times cops saved kids and pointing to two instances where cops were derelict in their duties as the excuse to leave all kids vulnerable and unguarded.

Democrat politicians closed public schools, while expensive private schools opened up far earlier to educate their own privileged kids.

Here in CA, Democrats have withheld CAASPP testing results until after the election, for a test the kids took last March. They finally released scores to the schools in September, but sent no results to parents or made any figures publicly available. Democrats don’t want voters to know what an abject failure their policies were for education. Even before Covid, around 40% of kids were reading below grade level because the Democrats in control of the public education system adamantly refuse to abandon blended learning or whole language.

Democrats have nothing to stand on. They cannot promote their stewardship of the border, law enforcement, crime, education, the economy, world peace, geopolitics in general, or the cost of living. They occasionally hand out checks to cover a bare percentage of the increase in living costs that they caused. They claim to be fighting climate change, yet their policies created higher fuel costs, which raised the cost of all goods and services, heating oil shortages, and an unstable power grid. Instead of getting fossil fuels from our ally Canada, we now pay more to have it shipped overseas, burning fossil fuels, from the Middle East, notorious for human rights abuses. How does this make environmental or moral sense?

    1. Let them stand on their research! A blue ribbon commission. Knowing full well minors can’t consent. Find who consented….find your answer!

      1. Oh that’s right the “state” consented….at least until senator sesession from Texas tried to out a stop to it! The using the so called “orphaned for research”! ..really want a blood boil? Read Kennedy’s book. No matter there is no blue ribbon study on trans gender….it’s just a major gaslight to your face…..to put upon you that they are in controlll…..maybe if you paid attention the last two decades about “pajama” days we wouldn’t be here. But you slept!!! But now you are awake. Read the cfr 45. Re human subject research. Read the church commission. Know there is no blue ribbon study research about trans. It’s just for the medical monopoly to wring a couple million out of every tenth kid! There is no blue ribbon study….even if there was who consented! I rest my case!

  13. Ah, the Republicans as tyrants, fascists, authoritarians and just a general all around threat to democracy narrative ploy. There must be an election close at hand.

Let’s see how that plays out against the facts. Which party engaged in and supported the following?

    – Outright censorship of free speech and actively promoting cancel culture to silence dissenting views (what about First Amendment rights?)
    – Establishing a “Disinformation Governance Board” (see Orwell, 1984)
    – Coercing and working hand in hand with social media companies to censor any information – no matter how factual – that runs counter to the prevailing official gov’t narrative (see Mussolini, corporatism and the merger of state and corporate power).
    – Attempting to pass legislation that would allow the Treasury and IRS access to every single financial transaction consummated by any individual or corporation (what about the privacy rights Leftists read into our Constitution?)
    – The targeting of parents who oppose CRT and gender fluidity in our schools as domestic terrorists subject to investigation by the FBI counterterrorism unit
    – The use of raw, racial discrimination by the Biden Administration (as determined by multiple federal courts) in the administering of the CARES Act.
    – Vaccine mandates despite the scientific fact that the vaccines neither prevent contraction or transmission of SARS-CoV-2 (or whatever happened to medical privacy rights?)
    – Lockdowns and other restrictions that were ineffective in reducing COVID-19 mortality and deleterious when considering overall all-cause mortality (what about Constitutional rights?)
    – Fines or imprisonment for those who those who publicly question COVID-19 vaccine efficacy (~50% of Dems according to poll data)
    – Criminal punishment of vaccine critics, whether the criticism appeared on television, radio, or even on social media (~50% of Dems…how’s that for promoting scientific discourse?)
    – Placement in designated internment camps for those who refuse the mandated vaccine (45% of Dems)
    – Involuntary confinement to their homes for those who are unvaccinated (~60% of Dems)
    – The government using digital devices to track the unvaccinated to ensure they socially distance and remain properly quarantined (67% of Dems)
    – The doubling of the IRS budget and the hiring of over 87,000 IRS agents to ensure taxpayer compliance via auditing (after all, what could possibly go wrong? Instead, how about a national sales tax where you could get near 100% compliance with probably 10% of the staff and budget?)

The list could go on and on but back to the original question: which party again is tyrannical, fascist, authoritarian and a threat to democracy?

Since this is a referendum on the threat to democracy, let’s see how voters weigh in on this issue next week.

In the end, I suspect Joe Biden and the Radical Left will be the best thing that ever happened to Republicans.

  14. Jonathan: Seriously, you must be kidding. With a straight face you can claim Biden’s speech was “reckless rhetoric” and “the likely effect will be to incite further violence and give license to the most unhinged in our society”? If you listened to Biden’s speech there was nothing in it that could possibly be construed as an invitation to violence. Biden said: “We don’t settle our differences with a riot, or a mob or a bullet, or a hammer. We settle them peaceably at the ballot box”. What Biden was warning about are continuing efforts by Trump, his MAGA supporters in the GOP to undermine faith in the electoral process. The GOP is working overtime around the country at various forms of voter suppression–to prevent Democratic voters from exercising the franchise. Trump continues to falsely claim the 2020 election was “stolen” from him and he is the one fomenting and encouraging political violence. The guy who attacked Paul Pelosi was not a Biden loving Democratic leftist. David DePape is a racist right-wing follower of QAnon and a Trump supporter. Had Speaker Pelosi been home it is likely DePape would have attacked her. It was an act of political violence directed at a Democratic office holder. DePape was simply trying to carry out what the Jan. 6 insurrectionists failed to do following Trump’s orders. DePape is the one who is part of the “most unhinged in our society” –not those who support the President. Sorry, but FACTS are still important. You get no cigar for trying to falsely claim the President and the Dems are encouraging political violence.

    1. @Dennis

Seriously? How much do you get paid an hour? I’m looking for a new gig, and sitting on my butt posting obtuse nonsense to a legal blog run by a Constitutional scholar all day where other people are trying to have a real conversation would be a sweet deal. If it’s more than $13/hour, I’ll skip applying at McDonald’s. Thanks in advance.

    2. Everyone’s onto your (and the Dems) gaslighting. You complain that Trump says the 2020 election was stolen, but you’re okay when the Dems say every other election was stolen. All you and your ilk do is lie about everything. America is sick of your shit. Payback is coming.

    3. Dennis:

Joe Biden keeps proclaiming that all Republicans are fascists who want authoritarian rule. That they want to force women to live like the Handmaid’s Tale, which is a bigoted anti-Christian work that claimed that all Christians were going to be sex slaver rapists. He keeps lying and claiming Republicans want to do away with Social Security and Medicare, despite there being exactly zero who want to do so.

The guy who attacked Paul Pelosi was a drug addicted, mentally ill, unstable homeless person, in San Francisco, the Mecca of drug addicted, mentally ill homeless people. DePape has decades of history of being a Leftist. He’s insane. While on a psychotic break, he heard that Nancy Pelosi was a liar, and then went to her house to attack her. The story is that San Francisco is filled with human feces, vomit, dirty needles, Monkeypox, HIV, mass looters, organized shoplifting crime rings, a crime wave of individual shoplifters, high auto theft and car break-ins, high violent crime, and an extraordinary number of homeless drug addicts and the mentally ill. Eventually, it burned Nancy Pelosi and her husband. The destruction of Democrat Policies finally breached the gated communities.

The difference between Nancy Pelosi and her constituents, is that defunding the police did not affect her. Cops arrived within 2 minutes. She lives in a gated community, while most people live with the crime produced by Democrat policies. She got a salon to open to give her a haircut, while calling for all businesses to close due to Covid. It’s like when her nephew, Gov Gavin Newsom, dined in the French Laundry and spent $15,000 on wine alone, while closing all California restaurants.

      1. Karen S: the depth of your delusionary world is literally stunning. Joe Biden did not say what you claim–that sounds like Hannity spin. You are lying when you claim that Republicans are NOT planning to do away with or severely curtail Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid and food stamps–do your homework before spouting lies.

DePape was a believer in Republican lies–just like you, Karen S. I’ve been to San Francisco and it is one of the most-beautiful places I’ve ever been. Your description is, again, more Fox media BS. You love to claim that Democrats are pushing all sorts of hateful rhetoric but this sentence of yours beats anything I’ve heard yet: “Eventually, it burned Nancy Pelosi and her husband. The destruction of Democrat Policies finally breached the gated communities.” DEMOCRATS ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR DEPAPE’s attack on Paul Pelsoi–he spouted alt-right lies and rhetoric–he went to attack Nancy Pelosi for being a liar–and where did he get these ideas? From the same place you get yours, Karen S. Of course, Fox did the usual reversal–pivoting blame away from the hateful rhetoric and lies it spouts–but DePape’s statements to police prove that no Democratic policies motived him.

You don’t even understand what “defunding the police means”–it means using assets like social workers and mental health workers to address things like domestic violence, substance abuse and mental health problems instead of shooting people in such situations. And, where the hell did you get the idea that “crime (is) produced by Democrat policies”? More lies you got from alt-right media. Are Democrats in favor of open carry? Are you aware that ruby-red Texas has more violent crime than California? It’s a fact–look it up.

    4. … ‘Dennis..’ amazing how you develop your own facts to suit your narrative….. you accuse Prof. Turley of ‘falsely’ ‘claiming the President and the Dems are encouraging political violence…’ when actually they are indeed responsible for it.. with all their fear mongering anti-American actions and rhetoric,… and.. what a falsehood you have spun about DePape being associated with Trump and trying to continue J6…… it’s reckless thinking like this that simply adds more fuel to the ‘misinformation/disinformation’ fires.. Yes, ‘FACTS are still important’ and seeing the real ones is more enlightened than making them up to suit yourself…..

    5. You state: “The GOP is working overtime around the country at various forms of voter suppression–to prevent Democratic voters from exercising the franchise.” Please provide two examples, describing the date, place, and means of suppression. If you can’t provide evidence for this slander, perhaps you would like to retract your statement.

  15. Re MSNBC: Desperate words from desperate people! Perhaps what they imagine is what they would do if the Left doesn’t get its way. The hate the left is spewing is a real threat to democracy. We can only hope for a ‘red win’ now– after people like Michael Beschloss support such nonsense. If the Dems lose it is because people see the damage that has been foisted on this country by their policies. Did they not weigh the consequences of their actions? Or perhaps they don’t care…

It is time now to also view the work of Michael Beschloss, the historian, through his lens of one party dominance. He once was very respected for his historical perspectives. Now, how will his work be judged? His proclamations breed unrest and he is the author of his fear. Why is the left so afraid of people who have different thoughts and express them? It is easier to profess doom than optimism — perhaps that is the byproduct of being a historian! Do we learn nothing from history?

And sadly, Biden’s legacy will not be what he once hoped but that of a feeble old man, pushed by others to do their bidding. Has he lost his moral compass? By his rhetoric he has shone that it is party over country. He has forgotten that he was elected to serve all the citizens of our country. The younger Biden would not have been so transparent and the once affable politician would have said ‘get a grip’ to the extremes of his party. If there is a red win, it will be because people understand that the policies of Joe Biden are harming the future of the USA. The real enemy to freedom is hate and anger and dominance over others. In this age of global unrest, we must have policies that see into the future health of our country and it starts with the people’s respect for one another — regardless of personal politics!

  16. If Republicans win they may decide to arrest and kill the children. He sounds reasonable.

What he failed to mention is that if Democrats win they may force us to go Soylent Green and eat the dead kids — after we run out of bugs to eat due to global warming.

    1. I’m so mad, at this point I’m perfectly willing to impeach Trump, again. .. if you can’t impeach Trump, who can you impeach?

*Update. Obama calls for negotiations with Putin’s talking points .. . lest this thing in Ukraine ‘spiral’ into a conflict between U.S. and Russia!

      1. ..it ALREADY IS A CONFLICT BETWEEN THE US & RUSSIA… who do you think is paying for 99.9% of Ukraine’s Defense..?

  17. So now we have it. The Democrats thought that America hated Trump so much that if they promoted Trump approved candidates it would result in their remaining in power. Some Democrats are now asking, who came up with such a dumb ass idea. Thanks Joe. Thanks Nancy.

  18. As a neutral observer here (Canada), it’s hard to see how this cultural insanity doesn’t end in civil war. There is so much hatred between Americans of the Supposed Left and Supposed Right that, in comparison, the Sunnis and Shias of Islam are best-buddies.

As far as I know, this is the first time in history that two totally artificially-constructed ‘tribes’ have generated such a paradigm of extreme hatred.

      1. Anyone who gets banned from this site has to be a major league idiot. Amirite “anonymous”?

        1. His first appearance was 3+ years ago when I joined this forum, and he used the name “Peter Hill”, an American Revolutionary War figure. He got banned and returned with other Revolutionary War figures, and then it went down hill from there. He is harmless, amusing and alas a reflection of our current world. His writing voice is a dead give away. For some reason he has a hardon for me.

      2. Hey Jeff, have no fear, the Washington establishment will save us. They always have our best interest at heart.

    1. Jeff Nielson,
I would like to take a moment to thank you for your dry, yet exception Canadian wit.
The “. . . the Sunnis and Shias of Islam are best-buddies.” did get a real world laugh out of me.

On a serious note, as I have stated in the past on this blog, civil war is a place we do not, must not go.
Yet, as of late, it seems inevitable.
Then again, I never thought I would see the possibility of WWIII/nuke war after The Wall came down.
      Yet here we are.
That said, I am going to go crack open a cold one.
      Cheers!

          1. Estovir, as Farmer you’re amplifying Putin’s nuclear threats. Russia can’t beat Ukraine on the battlefield so it terrorizes civilians instead.

            1. Anonymous,
Okay. I get it. You are off your meds, again.
Dont listen to the voices. Call your shrink.
Estovir and I are two different people.
And it is not Putin’s nuclear threats I am amplifying. It is the recent Pentagon’s change of policy statement about 1st use of nukes.

      1. That said, I am going to go crack open a cold one.

I hate beer. If you open a cold one of Veuve Clicquot, then I will toast along with you
        🍾

On a more visceral note, the anger from well known academic physicians and researchers due to COVID policies, is now flowing freely. Worrisome indeed

        @VPrasadMDMPH

Eventually politicians will strip CDC and other public health agencies of their power, and I won’t be able to argue with them.

        Why?
Public health misused and abused its powers

        Closing beaches
Pouring sand into outdoor skateboard parks…………

        Vaccine passports
Discriminating against people by vaccine status.
Preventing Novak Djokovic from competing in US Open
Preventing Kyrie Irving from playing but he can watch the game.
Making children wear masks to go to the zoo in California in November 2022 to protect the animals who shouldn’t be close to the kids anyway, and they’re all outside anyway
Firing healthcare workers who got COVID-19 taking care of sick patients, because they didn’t want to get a vaccine for the virus they had already had and cleared
Firing healthcare workers to the point that no one wants to work in healthcare anymore, and it is hard to staff
Discouraging people from getting routine health care.
Publishing propaganda in MMWR to justify your broken agenda
Funding the ecotrust dude after all the issues about where the virus is coming from.
Spending 10 billion on paxlovid without randomized data in vaccinated people
Spending billions on remdesivir when it doesn’t do s***.
Spending so much money on useless tests, that faculty members quit universities to go run testing companies selling said useless tests
Using useless test to keep kids out of school.
Inventing unproven Quarantine policies to keep kids out of school
Closing Palo Alto schools, but leasing the space, so parents can drop their kids off in zoom school, wear an instructor who’s an underpaid worker opens a laptop so they can take a class with their teacher.
If you stand back and consider the million things public health did to combat the pandemic, the ratio of incorrect to correct things might be 100,000 to one.
And doing all this without running a single cluster randomized trial to figure out anything. To just do it on a whim without data.
So as someone who has long believed in the value of the regulatory state, and long been a champion for increased funding of public health, if the politician asks me should we destroy the CDC, I would have to say ‘yes, please and let me help you’
We have to totally destroy it, and try to build a new institution that actually uses science to guide policy, and realizes that You can never follow the science. Science can just articulate trade-offs, but all trade-offs must be decided by citizens.
        Scientist advise, citizens decide
That was the mantra that public health experts did not adhere to, letting their narcissism and hubris drive policy. And somehow managing to run zero cluster randomized trials of NPIs

        1. Estovir,
          Depends on my mood.
After moving, stacking 100 55bls square bales, a cold beer sounds good.
Although, Veuve Clicquot is quite nice.
In the summer months I lean more towards whites like unoaked Chardonnay or Sauvignon Blanc.
In the winter months, Merlots, Pinot Noir, and Syrah, and the occasional Cabernet Sauvignon.
          Again, mood.

I have read a number of Vinay Prasad’s essays, postings. Good reading.

          1. After moving, stacking 100 55bls square bales, …..

That strikes me as a great workout. Good to see another fitness person on here! As regulars on here know, I wake at 3:30 am daily, train heavy at the local Gold’s Gym by 4:15 am, and enjoy bodybuilding. Im in my 50s and have no intention of letting the grim reaper take me.

Vinay Prasad is OK. I dont care for his “hair on fire” approach. He is promoting himself with theatrics when his intellect should be sufficient. My hero is Dr John P. A. Ioannidis, MD at Stanford, a true Renaissance man

It would not surprise me if it were true. Dr Peter Libby is a towering academic Cardiologist globally, based at Harvard. He has stated that COVID is an endothelial dysfunction disease, which might be consistent with what the embalmer is saying

Here is a free link to his piece

            1. Estovir: After each of my last two mRNA boosters (October and May), I went through disturbing cardiac arrhythmias but never made any association with boosters. It stopped @ 2-3 weeks after each, so I dismissed it as perhaps mild dehydration or electrolyte imbalance, -never thought about it again. (To my knowledge, I am a healthy person.)
NOW, lately, research is showing same in young males? (which I am not)
Hopefully, when I die, pathologist/embalmer won’t advise my family that I was really a male, ha ha!

              1. went through disturbing cardiac arrhythmias but never made any association with boosters. It stopped @ 2-3 weeks after each, so I dismissed it as perhaps mild dehydration or electrolyte imbalance

Cardiac arrhythmias are deadly. Allowing them to continue 2-3 weeks is extremely unwise. Im assuming you are speaking as a lay person. was this a diagnosis provided by a physician after a cardiac workup, ECG, and intervention? There is nothing mild about arrhythmias. I hope you are OK. As to relation to the COVID vaccine, Im unaware of this happening. At my clinic we literally administered thousands of COVID vaccines, not one cardiac adverse event. Zero

                https://www.heart.org/en/health-topics/arrhythmia/about-arrhythmia

                1. Were the clinic patients interviewed at a later date? Probably not. Was Lin interviewed by the one who gave Lin the shot? Lin may be able to provide the answer, but if Lin wasn’t interviewed by those giving the shot, Lin would have been considered part of the “not one cardiac adverse event. Zero” group.”

I am not pushing to condemn or approve. I am only trying to point out that to know the answer, one has to do a careful assessment or study. We cannot make our decisions based on anecdotes. There is too much noise in the information being provided, which cannot be helpful when making important decisions.

                2. Estovir and S. Meyer: Thanks for your thoughts. I am generally quite healthy, the arrythmias were neither tachy/brady, nor a sensation of flutter. They manifested as skipped but strong radial pulses, but with a pattern, e.g., skipped every fourth beat, every fifth beat, every third beat, etc., evident first and second week after vaccine boosters (Moderna mRNA). I considered maybe they were PVCs, or like I said, electrolytes/dehydration, since I generally have overall healthy metrics.
Resolved on their own after that, but DID mention to pharmacist while getting the last booster. She mentioned her knowledge of similar effects in young males, but that was all. I told her to remember me (female) if anything comes up in the future. If it had continued, I would have seen a cardiologist for workup/EKG, etc.
Thanks again, -was just interested in your knowledge of similar manifestations.

                  1. You are savvy observer, who sounds as if she has common sense about arrhythmias and PVC’s. …And a lawyer to boot.

I wish the government didn’t close down debate because we would have learned a lot more. Imagine 300+ million adding observations to the data set instead of having to rely on a Fauxi verdikt with Fauxi being the prosecutor, judge and jury.

          2. @OLLY

I can tell you this: my brother in law, a younger guy (just turned 40) who is a yoga instructor and the pinnacle of physical health had the J&J vaccine and had a dang stroke out of the blue last November. Tiny blood clot in his brain. Thankfully he’s rebounded well a year later, but there was quite literally no other explanation; no family history of brain abnormalities, no bad lifestyle – the vaccine was the ONLY additional factor. Mileage will vary, certainly, but his, and many others’ physiology did NOT respond well to the vaccine, and that is absolutely an unacceptable risk.

    2. Jeff Nielson……….You’re confused. Conservatives don’t “hate” Democrats. And I don’t know a single Conservative who wants to deny any citizen the right to free speech.
We just want fairness, and do not want to be ridiculed and punished for cherishing basic American values.
      Pay attention, son.

      1. Agreed. The left attack, everyone else rebuts. That person is not paying attention. So it goes internationally, I suppose.

    3. I wouldn’t despair. Americans are starting to laugh at the Democrats. That’s the end of taking them seriously. The problem in Canada is that we’re now watching a Keystone Cops re-run in the investigation into the use of the War Measures Act against the Freedom Trucker protestors. We haven’t yet started laughing at the blatant incompetence of all parties, including the federal government. From the sounds of it, these guys couldn’t organize a flag football game on a Sunday afternoon without invoking the War Measures Act.

I’m waiting for one of the Truckers lawyers to ask Trudeau: “You stated that any and all options were open to deal with the Freedom Protesters. Did anyone from your government try to talk to them or was sharing a few large Tim’s double-doubles coffees and a box of Bieber Bits considered seditious acts?”

I’m pretty sure that Trudeau will clarify by saying that all tools were on the table except having a chat and a coffee.

    4. >”There is so much hatred between Americans of the Supposed Left and Supposed Right that, in comparison, the Sunnis and Shias of Islam are best-buddies.”

Interesting analogy. I wouldn’t necessarily go that far presently, but – as incessantly reported in the media – they are working on it with a religious fervor!

I suppose you can remain ‘neutral’ up in Oh Canada, but here in the heartland the battle lines are being drawn.

*Neither a Republican nor Democrat be
For Republicans oft lose both themselves
      And friend
And, as always, Democrats dull the edge
      Of husbandry

    5. Jeff:

I was heartened to read Alberta Premier Danielle Smith apologized for the persecution of the unvaccinated, and most especially, of church pastors. It was absolutely incredible that a church pastor would be arrested on the freeway like a murderer, for keeping his church open, while flights were allowed to operate freely.

Due to this discrimination, unvaccinated people lost their jobs, were prohibited from travel, and not allowed to see loved ones. There was blatant religious discrimination when churches were not allowed to operate. With the risk of suicide, depression, domestic abuse, and drug and alcohol abuse rising during the isolation and stress of Covid, those churches were needed.

Yet, there was vehement hatred and discrimination against the unvaccinated, and against those who wanted churches or schools to open. It appears to be the age of tribalism and hatred, unfortunately.

      1. Karen S: now, you’re trying, lamely, to claim that people who refuse vaccination are somehow victims of “discrimination”. People who refused vaccination were not allowed to continue working in certain settings, like hospitals, for example, because they posed a threat to the safety and health of others. That’s not discrimination, except in the mind of Trumpsters like you who believe lies–it’s public health regulation for the benefit of everyone. We have always had laws requiring quarantine for people with contagious diseases. COVID was a novel virus that was 10Xs more lethal than the flu. Vaccination has brought COVID under control, so that we no longer set daily records for deaths or new infections. No one can deny that vaccination has helped bring us back. No one vehemently “hates” people stupid enough to believe lies about vaccination–that said, what right do stupid people who believe lies and who put others at risk have to go around infecting others? There are babies, young children the elderly, people with autoimmune conditions and people on immunosuppressive medications for various health conditions, who could die if they get infected because of people dumb enough to believe lies over their own health department regulations.

    6. Jeff – You may be right, but I think you base your opinion on the fanatical hyperbole one finds in American media, esp. ,oddly, in the established MSM. Outside such places as New York City, Washington DC, and Hollywood, the vast majority of Americans get along pretty well. After tomorrow, the national temperature here will go down, as leftists begin fighting one another.

  19. “MSNBC Meltdown: “Our Children will be Arrested and Conceivably Killed” if the GOP Wins Midterm Election”

    – Professor Turley
    _______________

Translation: If the GOP wins, our people will no longer enjoy a free ride on the communist welfare train.

As did Karl Marx, what MSNBC and the democrats fear most is freedom.

They said the wanted freedom; what they really wanted was “free stuff,” by the ton.

They fear free enterprise, free markets, freedom from taxation beyond that which supports debt, defense and infrastructure, and freedom from the “dictatorship of the proletariat” including unconstitutional unions, union strikes, central planning, regulation, redistribution, social engineering, etc.

The communists (liberals, progressives, socialists, democrats, RINOs, AINOs) never wanted American freedom, it terrifies them.

What they really wanted all along, and stole, was American “free stuff.”

  20. Turley you’re not Jewish are you? How quickly we forget what happened in Nazi Germany when fascists gained power…

      1. Peter, I am happily married, and as I have told you many times, you are not my type. Your stalking me is not a good look

        1. Estovir,
Is that what this is all about?
Ugh, that has got to be creepy, having this Anonymous stalking you.
Just a word of advice, you find a guy in your house in his underware and a hammer, just draw and take the 12 shots with a .357Mag revolver.

    1. Who are the fascists in this picture?

The Biden administration is pursuing a proxy war in Ukraine, supported by the military industrial complex; the only opposition comes from the MAGA Republicans.

The Biden administration has colluded with tech platforms to censor views they oppose, labelling it misinformation.

The Biden administration forced people to take unlicensed vaccines that it knew did not stop or even substantially reduce transmission, and imposed mask mandates despite the absence of solid evidence of their effectiveness.

The Biden administration has weaponised the DOJ and FBI against its opponents.

The Biden administration is allocating benefits based on race.

The Biden administration is picking corporate winners and losers based on the false belief in climate catrastrophism.

The Biden admistration is claiming its political opponents are a threat to democracy.

If there is a risk of fascism in this country, it is from the Biden administration and the Democrat party.

      1. Thank you for your well informed list of fascist activities conducted by the left. I’ve never seen even one example given by them when accusing the republicans of being the fascist authoritarians. Jan 6th doesn’t count since it’s a clear aberration that no responsible person can agree with, and Georgia has clearly proven voter suppression to have been a lie.

      2. None of the things you claim is true. Why do you tell these llies? Biden is correct in pointing out that election deniers in certain states have pledged to invalidate votes if they don’t like how the election turned out–which is exactly what Trump tried to get Brad Raffensberger to do in Georgia, that Raffensberger recorded. We all heard it. That alone shold land Trump in prison. Election deniers are a threat to democracy. One Republican candidate pledged that no Republican would ever lose an election again if he gets into office. You shouldn’t be allowd to vote if you aren’t wise enough to understand just how dangerous such people are–willing to rig an election because they don’t like the outcome–exactly what Trump tried to do.

        1. ” exactly what Trump tried to get Brad Raffensberger to do in Georgia,”

Are you too ignorant to understand what actually happened?

        2. GIGI – Please provide proof for the following statement: ” [E]lection deniers in certain states have pledged to invalidate votes if they don’t like how the election turned out–[.]” Names and places, please.
