Day 7: Palau

img_6608My seventh day was sent on Palau, a true island paradise. The first day was spent in three lectures to the Palau bar with Ninth Circuit Judge Paul Watford. The day was a good time to be indoors. A tropical storm moved in with torrential rain.

Indeed, the power went off in the middle of one of my lectures and we had to switch over to a generator.

I am staying at the Palau Pacific Resort, which is a gorgeous location on the beach.

Here are a few pictures. Tomorrow I am hoping that the rain will stop and the Judge and I will go snorkeling around the famous Rock Islands. Due to the weak Internet service on the island (which is done through satellite), I have not been able to post pictures thus far on the blog but I will update once in an area with service.
