The UN Environment Program’s fourth Global Environmental Outlook is out and it is bleak. According to the international body of scientists, the human population may be inflicting damage on the environment that could pass points of no return. The report comes after the Bush Administration suppressed the health warnings of its own CDC on global warming this week. The effort to keep such facts from the public, however, appears to be failing according to recent polls showing that both republicans and democrats want action on climate change.
