Quirks: Obsessive Compulsive Disorder consisting of uncontrollable urge to force people to throw her ball (or any other toy) for her to fetch.

Favorite food: Anything intended for human consumption

Questions:
1. What story or habit sums up your pet’s character or lack thereof?

Mouse has very definite ideas about what she will and will not tolerate, and from whom. She is independent – born free. She makes her own decisions about the world and about people – and usually in her own self interest. She would make a very good Democrat Legislator, as she does what is best for her and for the few people she counts as friends, colleagues and cronies.

2. What historical figure does your pet most resemble? (Outfits are permitted):

I would have to say a cross between HRH Queen Elizabeth I and Gen. George Patton.

3. Why would your pet be a good choice for the Supreme Court and what judicial philosophy would he or she likely bring to rulings?

The Mouse is very careful about decisions. She definitely avoids snap judgements. She assembles all the available information before making any decisions: (“If I come when she calls will I get something I want (and how badly do I want it) or will I be subjected to something I would rather avoid?”) Scholarship and Prudence are the hallmarks of the Mousie decision making process.

What public office would your pet be best suited to assume?

I think she would be an asset to the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals. They need her there, as she would add gravitas and curb some of the fuzzy thinking that seems to emanate from there. You only have to look at her countenence to see the self assurance and dignity of her public persona.

Which Supreme Court justice or leading politician would you feel most comfortable and least comfortable in using as a pet sitter for a weekend?

It really would not matter to Mouse what I would find most comfortable. I think she would be most comfortable with one of the less liberal Justices, or someone like Senator Hatch of Utah. She is basically a gal who does not want anyone to mess with her or interfere with her life. Yes she is definitely opposed to increased governmental interference in her life. And she does not appreciate a lot of gushy nanny type attention.
