MIT Scientists Discover X-Ray Vision . . . Sort Of

We just moved a little closer to making Superman obsolete. MIT scientists at the Lincoln Laboratory have announced that they have developed a new radar system that looks through walls using “ultrawideband multiple-input, multiple-output phased-array sensor.” For the rest of us, they developed x-ray vision!!!

The new technology allows video-like synthetic aperture radar (SAR) images of people moving behind a concrete wall. You can stand back 20 feet and look through a cinder block wall. The MIT scientists were unable to be reached at the campus and were last seen driving around the MIT sorority area.

Right now, the images are not exactly enticing. This is what a sorority shower looks like with the radar but these are very motivated people.
