HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

Happy Halloween to all of the ghostly regulars of the Turley Blog! Despite the theory that Halloween is just a cry for help from my rotting soul, I love this holiday and the house is covered with our annual display of skeletons, webs, and spooky items.

We are also planning our annual Pumpkin Smash at the Turley house for next Saturday, where the kids wake the Turley Troll at the top of the house and he throws down pumpkins until he runs out and throws down candy.

The kids are going as a Little Devil, Death, Wicked Jester, and Benjamin has made his own costume to go as his representation of Mictlantecuhtli, the Aztec god of the dead. The scariest thing is trying to pronounce Mictlantecuhtli, but with the exception of running into an ancient Aztec, we are probably safe on pronunciation.

Have a great and safe Halloween!
