Squatter Rights Or Fouling The Water Hole?

The owner of his dog was appalled with his response to a water container for dogs after a race. He observed that only his dog did this. It is all a matter of perspective.

To the dog, this is simply squatter rights being exercised openly and justly. To the other dogs, this is fouling the water hole. Ultimately, he could claim private necessity. After all, you can cool off a lot faster in the water than licking it.
