The video was found on a surveillance camera on Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue. The attacker is shown first speaking with the victim and then suddenly knocking him out. He then picks up what appears to be change on the ground.
The victim suffered a laceration and bruise but was later released.
It obviously could have been far worse and the danger is that this man clearly has not only a violent disposition but an uncontrollable violent disposition — making him a serious threat to the public.
Anyone with information about the suspect is asked to call D.C. police at 202-727-9099. A $1,000 reward is being offered for information that leads to an arrest and conviction for the person in this robbery.
