Calling All Exorcists: Church Seeks Applicants While Cases of Alleged Botched Exorcisms Are Prosecuted

APPLICANTS SOUGHT: FULL-TIME JOB, GOOD MEDICAL, LONG-TERM EMPLOYER, SEE WORLD, CHANCE FOR ULTIMATE ADVANCEMENT.
With the economy spinning out of control and the recession deepening, there appears to be some good jobs available in Rome. The Catholic Church is looking for exorcists. In the meantime, bizarre cases of alleged botched exorcisms are being prosecuted in the United States and abroad.

The need for competent exorcists would appear obvious from recent cases. One in Romania involved the death of a nun after a priest tied her to a cross and without her without water or food, click here.

In the United States, a man insists that his wife died when he was performing an exorcism. He says that he was successful in getting the devil to leave her — only to have the devil enter him and kill his wife, click here

The best part of this specialized job is that the International Brotherhood of Exorcists is one of the best connected and most powerful unions in the world. Since a work stoppage brings outbreaks of evil and possession, it is better to just give them the sandwich truck and dental plan that they demand.
