Witness: Police Asked Four Months Ago To Search Caylee Anthony Site

In a shocking disclosure, the meter reader who found the remains believed to be Caylee Anthony, 2, has stated that he actually called the police four months ago to direct them to the site. He says that he called at least three times and a childhood friend of Casey Anthony also says that she told police to search that area because the children was known to play there.

Capt. Angelo Nieves, an Orange County Sheriff’s Department commander, said that the department is looking into the claims of a lack of response from his department. Many were quite surprised by the discovery because it is very close to the grandparents home and was known to be an area that Caylee played in. It reminded many of us of the horrible job done by police in the investigation of the disappearance of Chandra Levy when her remains were found in an area that was supposedly searched repeatedly by D.C. detectives.

In Caylee’s case, the police say that a deputy did go to the site at least once and found nothing.
