After receiving the award, Seehawer “When you’re the best in the world at something, sure, that’s an honor.” But of course, no one believed him.
Seehawer competed against 160 entries, or so they said.
The Burlington Liars Club began in 1929 when reporters Otis Hulett and Mannel Hahn made up a story about a lying contest between the Burlington police and fire departments.
