The Right Chemistry: Loving Doctor Isolates Physiological Causes for Love

Ever wondered why your heart raced at the first sight of your wife or husband. Dr. Loving has the answer. Dr. Timothy Loving explains that it is literally having the right chemistry. To be accurate, chemists generally send Valentines reading “Baby, You Make My Adrenaline and Epinephrine Soar.” Above is an appropriate Valentine for chemists.

Loving explains that attraction is “strongly linked to physiological arousal as a whole. Typically, that’s going to start with things like increased heart rate, sweatiness and so on.” Romantic dog.

Dr. Reginald Ho, a cardiac electrophysiologist and associate professor of medicine at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, explains how the brain sends signals to the adrenal gland, which secretes hormones such as adrenaline, epinephrine and norepinephrine. They then make your heart race faster, which causes you to try that pick up line at the bar.

I have found only a few good chemistry pick up lines for our chemist regulars. You may want to try:

1. My favorite element is uranium, because I love U!

2. You are a photon quanta to my valence electron. You excite me to a higher energy level.

3. You’re so cool, molecules stop in your presence.

4. If I could rewrite the periodic table, I would put Uranium and Iodine together, for U and I!
