Balandran walked out of a McDonald’s and was wearing the same color shirt as the suspect. Lisner insisted that, because Balandran came from the same direction as shots being fired and was wearing the same color shirt, she was legitimately fearful for her own life and killed him. She says that he did not respond to an order to show his hands.
