They allegedly put the shotgun in a duffel bag underneath McGregory’s 8-month-old child. Nelson reportedly had been kicked out of an apartment and both men were going to confront the caretaker of the apartment building. A resident told police that McGregory told him and said “I’m packing major heat in here.” Nelson allegedly added “Somebody’s going to die.”
They apparently were not referring to a loaded diaper.
What is amazing is that they appeared willing not only to stroll around with the baby lying on a sawed off shotgun but to get into a gun fight with the baby in tow.
