Haynesworth is named in a misdemeanor assault warrant accusing him of punching a motorist after a tailgating incident. The driver said that he gave Haynesworth a one finger salute after the tailgating and that Haynesworth got out of his truck and punched him.
That is far more action than anyone else in the area has seen from Haynesworth since he arrived. Haynesworth is one of the many blunders laid at the feet of Synder who pushed his staff to hire him. Synder eventually forked over an obscene $35 million dollars to a player who made no secret that he hated the Redskins. He would be suspended after only 20 games.
According to reports, Coach Shanahan explained that Haynesworth “didn’t like the base defense, didn’t like the nickel defense, didn’t want to play nose tackle, he didn’t want to play defensive end.” If the most recent allegations are true, he also doesn’t like offensive lines in traffic any more than on the field.
