Gun Appreciation Day Marked By Carnage

Gun Appreciation Day across the country was marked by various gun shot wounds. At the Dixie Gun and Knife Show in Raleigh, North Carolina, the owner of a 12-gauge shotgun was asked to remove his gun from its case at a security check point and accidentally discharged the weapon — wounding three people.

I am a bit curious about what a security check point is looking for at a gun show when people are allowed to bring in guns.

At another gun show in Medina, Ohio, a gun dealer was attempting to unload a 9 mm semi-automatic Taurus pistol that he had purchased when it went off and hit his 62-year-old partner in the arm and groin.

Then in Indianapolis at the Indy 1500 Gun and Knife Show gun show, a man shot himself in the hand. Emory L. Cozee, 54, was reportedly walking back to his car while loading his .45 caliber semi-automatic when he accidentally shot himself in the hand. Not the brightest move I suspect.

At this rate, the gun control advocates may prevail by simple attrition.
