HIKING THROUGH A MONET IN THE MORNING

Yesterday morning a dawn, I walked one of my favorite trails — Billygoat trail in Maryland. There was a thick fog along the Potomac and it created the feeling of hiking through a Monet.

The fog was so thick at spots it was hard to see the trail and the “towpath” leading to the trail was particularly spectacular with the fall colors. As I head to New York today for a speech, I am still glowing from my morning Monet hike.

Here are a few of the pictures shortly after dawn on Billygoat Trail.
