Meaux starred on the Discovery show “Sons of Guns” but the show was canceled after his partner was hit with child sex charges. This store, Red Jacket Firearms, was then burglarized. Later he watched the video with Davis rapping: “I really want to go to war with Donald Trump because Donald Trump is tryin’ to take food stamps from my momma and that’s all the (expletive) she got. Let Donald Trump know it’s up over here. We want war; we’re going to declare war.”
Davis later ran a stop sign in Baton Rouge and the officer saw an outstanding warrant for his arrest on an undisclosed 2015 incident. He was booked on multiple weapons counts and a drug charge, including possession of the stolen guns (there is no evidence that he participated in the burglary, which has been charged against three other men).
Davis now knows what most people would have seen as obvious: threatening a presidential candidate with stolen weapons on social media is remarkably stupid.
