Blue Jays Fan Pleads Guilty To Being Beer Can Tosser

We have previously discussed how employees are now routinely fired for acting inappropriately in their private lives.  Such is the case with Ken Pagan who decided that it was a good idea to throw a beer at a Baltimore Orioles player in the seventh inning in the wild card game last year.  Pagan was fired by Postmedia Network Inc. once his name emerged in the subsequent coverage. Now Pagan has pleaded guilty to mischief in a plea bargain.

Orioles outfielder Hyun Soo Kim was also hit by the beer as the ran to catch a fly ball.

Under the plea agreement, Pagan can avoid a conviction if he complies with certain conditions for a year, including 100 hours of community service, being barred from the Rogers Centre, and barred from attending all Major League Baseball games.

His lawyer insists that his infamous reputation is punishment enough as “the beer can guy.”

This arrest was the result of Internet sleuths who combed through images from the game and isolated the image above of Pagan.
