Turley To Speak At Brazosport 50th Anniversary Celebration

Today I have the honor of serving as the keynote address at the celebration of the 50^th anniversary of Brazosport College in Lake Jackson, Texas. I have previously spoken at the college which was selected as one of the top ten community colleges in the nation by the Aspen Institute. The Clute and Lake Jackson areas is also the location of the Ron Paul Institute.

The keynote is entitled “Unpacking the Supreme Court: History, Hierarchy and Headlines.”

Brazosport has gone from only 25 graduates in 1970 to more than a 1,000 graduates annually in more than 75 degree and certificate programs, including one of four schools in Texas offering a Bachelor of Applied Technology degree.

The luncheon is hosted by the Brazoria County Council of Chambers and the Economic Development Alliance for Brazoria County from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Dow Academic Center at Brazosport College. It is being sponsored by Olin.

It is a beautiful location with a vibrant academic community headed by University President Dr. Millicent Valek.
