It can be honestly said that the apple did not fall far from the tree in the case of father and son team Paul M. Crowell, 22, and his father, Paul J. Dupey, 41. Both demonstrated a room temperature IQ when they first stole allegedly stole a police taser gun and then took turns stunning each other for a YouTube video. They are now facing criminal charges.
Crowell is accused of stealing the guy from a squad car after he drove his car into a ditch and was using the car to warm up on New Year’s Day.
Not only did this seem a great idea to the son, but both father and son came up with the equally brilliant idea of stunning each other for a YouTube video. Of course, cops watch YouTube like other people and quickly arrested both men. There is obviously great benefit in removing both men from the gene pool but it will only likely be temporary. Any jail time — which seems likely — will not hold them more than a few years at most. They can then purchase a stun gun and celebrate the New Year in their unique family tradition.
