Judge Releases Pedophile; Says 11-Year-Old “Welcomed” Abuse

British judge Robert Atherton is under attack for a ruling that released pedophile Jon Dixon, 20, after finding that an 11-year-old girl that he met on a chat room “welcomed” his advances and had a high level of “sexual awareness.”

Despite the finding of probation officers that Dixon represented a “high risk of serious harm to children,” Atherton rejected jail and further worried that Dixon would not receive adequate care in the crowded prison system.

He met the girl on an Internet chat room called Flirtomatic. While first claiming that he only kissed the girl, Dixon later admitted to attempting to rape her in an alley and fondling.
