Alamo is going to be held without bond as a flight risk after a hearing before U.S. Magistrate Judge Barry Bryant. He is now accused of polygamy by some witnesses. Jael Sprinkle, 32, testified that she was taken as Alamo’s wife at age 17 and that Alamo had five other wives at the time. Sprinkle said she, her parents and others were beaten severely. Alamo, whose real name is Bernie Lazar Hoffman, faces two charges, each of which carries a sentence of 10 years to life in prison.
