
Born in the Ukraine, Demjanjuk lives in a Cleveland suburb, denies involvement, but the Germans will now move for his extradiction.
In 1986, Demjanjuk was extradited to Israel and spent seven years in custody before the Israeli courts ordered his release due to evidence indicating that another Ukrainian was that Nazi guard was Ivan the Terrible from the Treblinka death. Then the United States agreed that he was a different guard after decades of accusing him of being Ivan. They then declared him a different guard and said that he could be deported for falsifying information on his entry and citizenship applications in the 1950s.
