Former Prosecutor Arrested for Arranging Prostitutes for “The Minnesota Nice Guys”

Former Hennepin County prosecutor John St. Marie, 65, has been arrested for arranging for wealthy clients to hook up with high-priced prostitutes for a club known as “The Minnesota Nice Guys.”

St. Marie allegedly did the work of setting up flights, hotels and logistics for sexual services and did not accept money as part of the scheme. Nice guys included lawyers, business owners, accountants and mortgage bankers who came from out of town to meet with the women.

St. Marie is wheelchair bound due to childhood polio and started the club in 2003. To make matters worse, police say that they have St. Marie on wiretaps discussing the illegality of his work and frequenting prostitutes for 35 years, including during the period he was a prosecutor. The prostitutes charged $500 an hour.
