The suspects arrested with Bailey said that he told them to meet him at the barbershop if they wanted to buy crack. Bailey insists that he was buying not selling the drugs. When arrested, the police uncovered 21 grams of crack cocaine and charged Bailey with cocaine distribution. Bailey was previously convicted of handgun violation, resisting arrest, and criminal recklessness. He was on parole for a cocaine distribution charge.
The two other suspects, Demorrio Lawrence and Tamarra Blue, were both charged with possessing drug paraphernalia.
