After spending a day at the pool with the kids, two out of four passed out in our living room, so we never got to go to the D.C. fireworks. Instead, those awake watched the movie Cats and Dogs (which I loved as a dog person) and watched fireworks from our living room from the McLean show. The most important thing is that I was able to finish off the cherry pie.
