Walker worked as an accountant for ProCare Health and was accused of writing emails with words in red, in bold and in capital letters.
The Employment Relations Authority, however, did not find a history of confrontational emails and was only given one email where Walker informed employees how to fill out staff claim forms with a sentence in capitals and bold blue reading: “To ensure your staff claim is processed and paid, please do follow the below checklist.” The board also found no warning that Walker was using caps at her own peril.
As part of her compensation, Walker was awarded nearly $6000 in lost wages and $11,500 for her personal harm. Walker responded by sending the board a message “I APPEAL.” OK, I made that up but she is appealing for additional compensation.
