Root, 27, was arrested after her two boys — aged 2 and 3 — were found playing in the woods for hours, wearing nothing but diapers.
The police said the toddlers are very cold and wet when they were picked up.
The police also alleged that Root appeared at the station under the influence of prescription pain medication.
