After another driver complained about a truck driving erratically, police in Ontario found that the driver had tied a string to a tooth to wait for a big bump to pull it out.
He succeeded. When he was stopped, the tooth was lying on the seat next to him.
The truck driver, 58, was charged with careless driving, but not practicing dentistry without a license. In trial, he does not appear to have a defense β particularly after he is asked for βthe tooth and nothing but the tooth.β
