You might be surprised by how much you can make as a faux Beatle. The Fab Four has been performing since 1996 around the globe and, in more than 2,000 shows, made more than $15 million in gross revenue. “Baby, You’re a Rich Man.”
Given their name recognition, the Fab Four are telling the Fab 4 “You Can’t Do That” because “You Like Me Too Much.” When the Fab 4 started to advertise on the Internet, the Fab Four said “That’ll Be the Day” and suggest “All I’ve Got to Do” to show pictures and videos of both bands and ask the Court “Tell Me What You See.”
For their part, the Fab 4 are saying “Come and Get It” and that they have a right to impersonate the Beatles as a fab band as much as the next bowl-cut, 50s dressed wannabes.
The Fab Four insist “I Don’t Want to See You Again” and that when people go on the Internet, they are confused by the similar look and names of the bands. The problem is that “I Call Your Name” instead of own our own, says the Fab Four.
The Colorado band notes that they are a smaller operation and mainly play in Colorado. But the Fab Four insist that “If You’ve Got Trouble” it is because the Fab 4 are “attempting to trade” on the reputation and success of The Fab Four in violation of trademark laws. Yet, the Fab 4 insist that they are just obvious in their motive, to wit “I’m Looking Through You” and you are just claiming “Money (That’s What I Want).”
The Court will have to decide who will sing “I’m a Loser” at the end of this fight, but I expect “It Won’t Be Long” with a motion to dismiss filed in the case. However, the Court may just tell both bands “Let It Be.”
