Turkish Groom Fires Gun Into Air At Wedding and Mows Down Wedding Party

While a kebab shop owner is claiming to beat and strangle his wife as part of a local dance, a groom in Turkey shoot eight of his wedding guests as part of his celebration. His father and two aunts later died.

Firing guns into the air is one of the most common and stupid practices in the Middle East during celebrations. In this case, the groom grabbed an AK-47 and fired off some shots. He says that he lost control of the gun and mowed down eight of his wedding party in the village of Akcagoze in Turkey’s southeastern province of Gaziantep.

If you line up all of the bad wedding stories, this would have to top the list.
