Sanchez, 34, admitted that on, May 16, 2007, he pulled over a female driver in a traffic stop after seeing her speeding or weaving on the road. She did not have her license with her and Sanchez offered to drive her to her work — but instead took her to a parking lot and sexually assaulted her. He could be sentenced to 10 years in jail. What is strange, however, is the lack of state criminal charges — where he would be treated as a sex offender. This would usually be treated as a state offense.
