
What is interesting is that the caption on the photo credits the store manager as the photographer but no charges have been brought against the manager. According to PETA, the caption read: “[T]he manager took the pic for me. [S]he reminded me that there were people outside as [I] was swearing at them to just hurry up and die but then she was so kind as to take this picture.”
New reports include sources who allege that drowning animals was a common practice when they are injured at the store.
Petland has pulled the franchise of the store, which has been closed by public authorities.
