Minnesota Man Shoots Himself While Trying to Loosen Lug Nut on Tire With Shotgun

Most of us when faced with a stuck lug nut on a flat tire will look for some leverage. A man in South Kitsap, Washington, however, looked for something with a bit more firepower. He was injured when he tried to loosen the nut with a 12-gauge shotgun.

The 66-year-old man shot himself in both legs in the attempt at auto repair-NRA style.

What is most remarkable is that the police say that the man was not intoxicated. He has been charged with one count of public endangerment.

This adds to the list of “things not to do with guns” with dragonfly hunting and picture hanging.
