The Murfreesboro Tennessee teacher taught at Cason Lane Academy and denied the charges when she was confronted by the school over missing lunch money and “smart cards” that are sold for fundraisers. Stube, 30, later admitted to the theft.
She has been suspended. Ok, here is the question. Once a teacher admits that she has been stealing lunch money from kids, isn’t that a basis for termination in Murfreesboro rather than suspension? What does it take to get fired? Steal the actual kid? I am hoping that this is just a temporary stage in the process for termination. Otherwise, I am going to start to demand that my law students use my office as a lunch escrow.
