Jeddah police arrested two female professors from King Abdulaziz University this week for the crime of driving themselves to the mall. Police were shocked by the sight of a woman behind the wheel of a car and immediately pulled them over. The women claimed that they had no alternative when their driver disappeared a few days earlier and they had no male relative to drive them. The driver in her 20s has been turned over for prosecution.
