Give Me a Pee: Cheerleaders Busted Afer Spiking Team Drinks With Urine

Cheerleaders at the Saginaw High School in Saginaw, Texas (not the cheerleaders shown left) were busted after they allegedly served team members soda mixed with their own urine — telling them that they had added sour candy.

The prank was disclosed by the perpetrators in a YouTube video — adding stupidity to depravity.

What is fascinating is that there are no criminal charges and the suspension is just for three days for some and less for others. Indeed, the cheerleaders will be allowed to rejoin the team next year. No expulsion, no ban from the team.

The prank clearly would trigger liability under tort for battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and other claims. It could also be charged as a crime. Such serving of tainted food or beverages could cause injury and certainly cause emotional harm to the other children. Yet, only a couple have been given a three day suspension.
