“Emo Killings” In Iraq Increase As Militias Uphold Islamic Values By Beating Youths To Death With Cement Blocks

As our allies in Afghanistan have embraced a new edict declaring women worth less than men, militias in Iraq have reintroduced gruesome executions of anyone viewed as “gay” because of their haircuts or dress. So called “Emo killings” are on the rise with gays being beaten to death with cement blocks with little investigation or apparent concern from local police. Roughly 60 people have been murdered in the last six months alone in such killings

The young people are pulled aside by militiamen who smash in their skulls with cement blocks. The names of 33 people were recently published with their home addresses as “Emos” in Sadr City — given four days to go Islamically straight or face execution: “If you do not stop this dirty act within four days, then the punishment of God will fall on you at the hands of Mujahideen.”

Militias are declaring young people to be “Emo” based on their listening to Western music, dressing in black, and having radical hairstyles.
