Taser! Taser! Taser! Video Shows Police Beating and Tasering Suspect on Ground

This video has a disturbing scene as multiple officer in Nottingham, England beat and taser a man who is lying on the ground.

English police has a reported 10,000 tasers and the Nottingham video is leading to renewed calls to review the widespread use of these devices.

The police were called to deal with an aggressive customer and the 40-year-old man was reportedly hit once with a taser before the start of the video. Police has said that one officer was assaulted and required hospital treatment.

Once again, it is videos like this one that worries civil libertarians as the English legislators and police seek to ban or limit the photography of officers through the use of criminal penalties.
