Herding Emos: Saudi Religious Police Round Up Emo Girls

Saudi religious police have declared war on the emo girls. Ten “emos” were rounded up at a coffee shop at the King Abdullah University.
A coffee shop owner called in the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice when the emos arrived. They were arrested and eventually turned over to their parents with demands that they stop wearing unIslamic outfits.
For those emo-wannabes, there is a site that will show you how to be an emo. That is useful because before this story I would have thought it would have involved dressing like the largest native bird in Australia.
