Oklahoma Man Attempts Fetish Defense to Murder

Arthur Sedille has a difficult criminal defense to prove at trial. Sedille admits that he shot to death his wife in Oklahoma City. However, he insists that he was merely engaging in fantasy sex play with a gun that he thought was unloaded. It wasn’t.

Sedille, 23, insists that he routinely engaged this type of bizarre play and had only
pulled the handgun’s slide back during sex on the night of December 21 when it went off. He then called 911.

He was arrested on suspicion of first-degree murder but police are investigating the basis for his claim. The defense will turn entirely on any proof of this particular form of sex play and the absence of marital difficulties or a motive for murder. After all, this would be the perfect defense by anyone who wants to kill a spouse. There is no way to prove that the trigger was pulled as a fantasy as opposed to a premeditated murder. This is one fetish that Sedille better hope was common knowledge.

  1. To all who have read this and commented. AJ is still in jail and will be for 6 more years. It was a terrible accident . They did play this way many times, some even on tape. No there was no insurance monies of any kind they were damn near broke. Evidently she was what he wnted and he for her. Stupid yes but just a terrible accident.

  2. Has be been released yet (haven’t been following too closely, sorry. )

  3. Toning a first degree murder down to a manslaughter is good, but I wouldn’t call it a “perfect defense”…

I can actually imagine this kind if accident happening and the trauma caused in the survivor. Maybe plastic gun would be sufficient next time…

  4. Mike Spindell,

Man it is good to ‘talk’ to you again!

When you talk about your long-haired trip out west, I think of this great, great tune.

    “The Dew Drop Inn…
Stuffed my hair under my hat.
    Some feller with green teeth”

  5. FFLEO,
Can’t ride a horse worth a damn, but this Ol’ Brooklyn boy still loves the old time Country and Western music stemming from the time I saw “High Noon” with Tex Ritter singing in the background.
Spent some time in all the western states back in my younger days, except Texas and Oklahoma. Back then, when I had hair, it was down to my shoulders and I didn’t think they’d take to kindly to me.
However, everywhere else I stayed in the West the people were great and I have many wonderful memories. Especially camping out under the stars in the Grand Teton National Forest, with a bunch of people from all over and a guy from Texas playing the guitar as we sang along and imbibed.

  6. Mike Spindell,

That is great music, thanks. That song and others bring back memories of the 50s/60s when I wrangled horses for my uncle who was an outfitter in Colorado. He sang that song and others songs including ‘Corinne, Corinna’ and ‘Old Fashioned Love’ while ridin’ the mountains with pack strings of horses and mules.

Here is the name of tribute album I mentioned earlier.

    WARNING: A **BAD** word ahead:

‘A Tribute To The Best **Damn** Fiddle Player In The World: Or, My Salute To Bob Wills’

    Take care, friend.

  7. The best`definition of the Yiddush word “chutzpah” is: To kill one’s parents and then beg mercy of the court as an orphan. I
suspect that this man has “chutzpah.”

    FFLEO,
didn’t know that Bob and Merle had relationship, but should have. Bob Wills and The Texas Playboys are favorites. One of my
    favorites:
