“Staged Theatrics to Win Idiots’ Vote”: Virginia Professor Declares Trump Shooting Was Faked

University of Virginia Assistant Professor Sethunya Mokoko took a break from teaching students to get the word out this week that the entire assassination attempt of former President Donald Trump was a staged event for suckers. Mokoko explained that it was just a ploy to get the votes of “idiots.” He, however, is available to offer sage-like clarity that the Secret Service, local police, and the Trump campaign conspired to fake the assassination, kill a bystander, and seriously wound others to get the sucker vote. He is not alone in this theory while others on the left are simply bemoaning that Thomas Matthew Crooks missed.

In his tweet, Mokoko said that security ”ignored [Crooks] because trump & secrete service staged theatrics to win idiots’ vote.”

So let me get the conspiracy down. The Secret Service allowed a kid who flunked out of the high school shooting club as a bad shot to fire multiple rounds at the former president from a sloped roof at 130 yards in the hope that he would only wing him?

 

Mokoko previously taught at Clemson University, Gold West College, Long Beach City College and University of California, Long Beach, according to his Linkedin page.

His faculty bio states that Mokoko teaches “Race, Rhetoric, and Social Justice” and “Writing about Culture and Society.” His focus is “teaching students to appreciate and value social justice rhetorics across media; to become rhetorically listening writers, readers, and viewers; and to understand how global rhetorics shape and define agency and identification.”

He is not alone. Within minutes of the assassination attempt, the staging theory was going viral and has been picked up by many on the left. For example, actress Amanda Seales took to social media to claim that Trump used fake stage blood and sound effects to stage his assassination attempt.

“That sh** was more staged than a Tyler Perry production of Madea Runs for President. I lived in Harlem long enough to know that gunshots do not sound like making popcorn on the stove.”

She does not explain how local fireman Corey Comperatore died from the fake bullets.

Others fueled the stage conspiracy theory.

Tennessee state Rep. Antonio Parkinson posted a statement that “I certainly hope this is not a staged act. But.”

Colorado state Rep. Steve Woodrow, D-Denver, declared “The last thing America needed was sympathy for the devil but here we are.”

Aberdeen, Wash., Mayor Douglas Orr declared “The shooter is dead so we will never know if this was staged. I hope I’m wrong, but because of his record of deceit, that’s the first thing that came to mind.”

Still others accepted that the shooting was real, but complain that Crooks should not have missed. Bellarmine University English instructor John James posted on Instagram: “If you’re gonna shoot, man, don’t miss.”

Jack Black’s Tenacious D partner Kyle Gass made a wish while performing with Black that the next assassination would not miss. Various people joined in on regretting that the assassination was not successful.

This is the very face of the age of rage and shows how it is both addictive and contagious.

  1. Residents of the Commonwealth of Virginia should demand an answer from the Chancellor of UVA, as well as their Governor, as to why this MORON is on the public payroll at all. He’s clearly unqualified to speak on this or any subject, and proof that whatever institution of “higher learning” he has his degree(s) from ought to have their credentials re-evaluated.

  2. It’s interesting that within the first few minutes of the incident I had a feeling that it was staged, I thought NBC was putting a Trump add. My local NBC news station (WPTZ 5 Plattsburgh NY/ Burlington VT) got in with the special breaking unfolding new , breaking from local broadcast) at 6: 17 pm on July 13, 6 minutes after the attempts, and were already putting replays, they weren’t showing live images until a few minutes later. ABC WVNY Plattsburgh/Burlington were running World News Tonight broke with the news at 6:25 pm, and CBS WCAX waited until the network took over at 6:30 pm. AS only NBC was on the news at first, and the first things which really looked faked was the Secret agents lifting Trump and making him a target on stage for a good 30 seconds while giving him the opportunity to make his lines and theatrics… I thought this is staged, it’s fake… The Secret Services looked like bad actors running an audition for a B series movie produced either in Montreal or Toronto canada.
    Then we had 4 days of Officials changing the story lines about how the shooter got on the roof. First 24 hours was this witness who spoke with the BBC saying he saw the gunman climb exterior stairs to get to the roof. This held for 24 hours with plenty of other witnesses corroborating. Then when it was pointed that no such stair existed. They then came back saying that witnesses saw the gunman get inside the building and reaching the roof through the inside stairs. When we explained the only way to get to this roof is with a latter they created this fake narrative that the gunman jumped on air conditioning units and got access to the roof and jumped from roof until he got to his location. Unfeasible. He would have had to drag himself up a 12 foot exterior vertical duck 24 inch by 24 inch which has nothing allowing for grasp. And this on the side of the building which was the temporary local law enforcement headquarters for the event…
    Then they came with this fake bullet on the picture of a Pulitzer prize photographer Doug Mills (Deep State agent)… It’s a fake picture because at that time in the sequence no bullet could have been at that proximity of Trump. I’ll show the calculations on my blog. Bullets (Remington 0.233, preferred AR-15 like weapon size) would take 0.17 seconds to get near Trump from the shooters location, while the sound takes 0.40 seconds to travel the same distance. Trump has his hand firmly on the lectern up to when he jigger his head from reaction and take his hand to his head, this is when Gills took the photo, but we’ve already heard the 2 shoot, and the next shot, we can view and hear is the sharp shooter on the roof behind Trump which is triggered just as Trump’s hand touches his ear. We can clearly see the recoil synchronized with the sound which takes 0.045 second because the sharp shooter is only 50 feet away on the roof. Why put this fake picture. To create an undeniable proof. But still the vector of the wound of Trump is not coherent with a bullet traveling almost vertically to the ground. The vector of the wound indicate the bullet which touched him came from 25 to 30 degrees over the axe of his head. Was their an autonomous remote control weapon hanging somewhere in all the suspend hardware around the stage?
    Why does the director of the SS explains (in an exclusive ABCnews interview, July 16) no details were put on the roofs where the shooter was was because of the risk of the slope of these roofs. In fact the rook she is talking about has a about 10 degree slope while the sharp shooter just behind trump are on what appears as a 25 degree slope.
    And with so many lies staking up is it any surprise that the media is now bringing IRAN in the equation…?
    For the while my theory was this was perpetrated to scare Donald Trump into choosing VP JD Vance, another Deep State construction whose principal role around Project 2025 will be the implementation of Bitcoin as the new reference currency. Vance is your typical Deep State project with writing a biography while he hasn’t really accomplished yet, and then meeting a slew of influential people in Silicon Valley. Leading all kinds of projects simultaneously and being the biggest back room promoter of Bitcoin in Congress. His wife who maintains a healthy relationship with her Indian origin, is Hindu, graduated summa cum laude from Yale, clearked for Kavanaugh and Roberts, probably introducing them to the .virtues. of Bitcoin… Hisu and JD are the perfect deep state power couple… It’s the Bitcoin Coup d’État going on. That is what happened.

  3. I know nothing about federal security details. Does anyone know if an assigned Secret Service detail (specific staff) changes with each presidency, i.e., to enhance loyalty and political consistency;?
    Or is it a constantly-changing force,? with apolitical assignment?
    Or is it a “selected” force, expressly chosen by the incumbent party/Executive office?

    Now UVA is an insane asylum for the openly irrational.

  7. If you’ll indulge a bit of logic….one of the “tells” of poorly-crafted infowarfare is that it only makes sense if the listener is unaware the fabrication depends on ex post facto information. In this case, the “planners” of a false-flag assassination attempt would have to know in advance that 1) Trump would only be nicked by a bullet, 2) that he would respond in the instant with a gesture of resilience, and 3) that the public response would be sympathetic to Trump (exposing and isolating his most rabbid haters).

    The same logical flaw is evident in claims that the FBI plotting with Dems orchestrated the violent assault on the Capitol January 6th. Wouldn’t they have to know in advance how the day ended in order to shoulder the risk of igniting a wider conflagration that couldn’t be snuffed out in just a few hours? Given that the stated goal of the protest was to “stop the steal” (prevent Biden’s Inauguration), what Democrats would be reckless enough to fan the fires of such passions?….answer: ones who already knew the future in advance.

    I actually think AI would be smart enough to filter out such amateurish attempts into PysOps by detecting ex post facto assumptions. And I would applaud Elon Musk and others for tweaking their algorithms to auto-respond to the posters of such garbage with “nice try, Dmitri — you’re going to have to do better than that”.

      PITTSBURGH — Channel 11 News exclusively confirmed Tuesday that Thomas Crooks was spotted by police hanging around the American Glass Research complex more than an hour before the assassination attempt of former President Donald Trump.

      Multiple law enforcement sources described the security operation in detail Tuesday, directly contradicting public statements from the U.S. Secret Service Director.

      According to law enforcement sources in multiple counties in western Pennsylvania, there were two sniper teams set up near the building where Thomas Crooks fired from Saturday evening. However, in direct contrast to comments made by Secret Service director Kimberly Cheatle, there were no local police in the same building where Crooks made it on the roof.

      Channel 11′s Nicole Ford also obtained exclusive photos showing the cell phone and transmitter device found next to Crooks moments after a Secret Service sniper shot and killed him. On Monday, Ford reported pictures of Crooks had been taken by local police at least 26 minutes before shots were fired and sent up the command chain.

      On Tuesday, multiple law enforcement sources confirmed with Ford that Crooks was also spotted by police with a range finder.

      According to multiple sources, when former president Trump took the stage Saturday, Crooks was still on the ground and had not yet climbed the roof of the building. Channel 11 news can also confirm that Crooks was on the roof with a gun for fewer than seven minutes when first confronted by a Butler Township police officer.

        in your experience as retired LEO, would you please provide us some insight as to what transpires when a federal agency contracts with local law enforcement agencies for a high profile security event, and who takes responsibility if things go awry? Thanks

        1. You don’t need to be a LEO to know that the U.S. Secret Service has focal responsibility for the security of protectees when cooperating with State and local police. Director Cheadle’s lame attempts to slough off responsibility for the failures Saturday onto local law enforcement are reasons for her immediate dismissal.
          Her commentary that the roof was too steep (undermined by published photos) shows her to be unfit to lead a security organization. Why hasn’t she been asked to resign? Why hasn’t Biden fired her? It is an ongoing risk to all SS protectees that she be allowed to continue in office running a cover-up (of incompetence).

        2. I would need to reserve my comments on this incident until the final report came out. I had noted in dealing with the workings between feds and local agencies is there can be a disconnect between federal agents and local law enforcement in communications. We had a common radio channel that served inter-agency in the 2 meter band. THis is changing due to adoption of higher frequencies I imagine. Feds use other systems.The local agencies can interoperate between each other’s dispatch agencies and on a county/city scale it often was the counties that coordinated everyone. I haven’t worked an operation such as one involving federal executive protection so what I might offer is limited. I suspect it might be that the SS owns the operation and the local agencies provide perimeter and details such as crowd control and overwatch. They would likely coordinate in a fusion center between the feds on one side and a local agency that coordinates cities and counties on another.

    It’s a display of frightening incompetence that is worrisome.

    But what is far more frightening is the realization that the federal government is filled top to bottom with appointees and hires just like those grossly incompetent Secret Service agents.
