Wild Ride: Pennsylvania Democrat Declares That She is “Outraged, Devastated” In Conflicting Letters on Israel

Universities are bracing for a return of protests this term, which has already begun on campuses like Cornell. University officials are attempting to straddle the issue while facing pressure to cut off ties to Israel.

The use of the two conflicting letters was revealed by a mother and daughter who had written as constituents to Rep. Wild in support of Israel. They received not one but two letters in response.

In the pro-Israel letter, Wild said she was “outraged, devastated, and heartbroken” over the “vicious” Hamas attack. She pledged to “do everything I can as your representative to ensure Israel has the ability and capacity to restore and maintain its security and safety of all its citizens.”

In the pro-Palenstinian letter, Wild said she was “outraged, devastated, and heartbroken” over the “unspeakable tragedy continuing to unfold in Gaza.” In calling for an “immediate ceasefire,” she decried how the Israeli military “has inflicted devastation on staggering numbers of innocent Palestinian children, families, and civilians in Gaza.”

These were not the first conflicting pitches by Wild on the issue.

In March 2019, Wild told a reporter she was “one of the most pro-Israel members of Congress.” Yet, days earlier, she spoke at a fundraiser for the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) alongside Marc Lamont Hill, whom CNN had fired months earlier for urging to “free Palestine from the river to the sea.”

A year later, Wild was criticized for reportedly organized a birthday fundraiser for American Friends Service Committee, a left-wing group that accuses Israel of the “root causes” of the Hamas attack and has called for “decriminalizing Hamas.”

Many have called this the “post-truth” election because many voters seem to tone out contradictions on both sides – voting on type of red pill-blue pill political basis. Candidates like Rep. Wild are counting on that blind voting pattern to carry them over for another term.

In full disclosure, I previously criticized Rep. Wild who gave a commencement address at George Washington Law School where she made a demonstrably false accusation that I adopted conflicting positions in my testimony during the impeachments of former presidents Bill Clinton and Donald Trump.

  1. The great American poet Walt Whitman wrote in Song of Myself, 51:

    Do I contradict myself?
Very well then I contradict myself,
(I am large, I contain multitudes.)

But Susan Wild–unlike Walt Whitman–doesn’t contain multitudesl unless, of course, you’re talking about the multitudes of BS the Dunceocrats manufacture.

But that’s all Dunceocrats can do. Create BS. Distribute BS. And force more BS on taxpayers. Of course, Dunceocrats voters can’t get enough BS, which is why they will always vote for other Dunceocrats.

But for the rest of us, the stench is unbearable.

  2. Looking at her face makes me think of the book “The Portrait of Dorian Gray,” ironically enough by Oscar Wilde, which describes the physical effects of moral paucity. I think it’s the Q’ran that says “the fate of every man have we bound about his neck.” Perhaps we could add that the soul of every man, and woman, is written in their face. Ms. Wild looks like an evil dumpling.

  3. Who said this

These are my principles. But I have others if you don’t like these

    Groucho Marx

    Or

    KAMALA HARRIS

  4. Who said the following today:

He even called the termination of the United States supreme cour, of the Supreme land of our nation, the United States constitution

    a) Joe Biden
    b) the meesta meesta lady from Happy Gilmore
    c) Spastic Gigi
    d) David Benson
    e) KAMALA HARRIS

  5. At the end of the day, there is nothing to have nor lose without good will. There is only ill will here and free speech, press, religion, assembly, due process, life, liberty and property are pearls thrown to swine.

You’ll find Isaac Perlman’s strad in an elementary school band one day. After all, Perlman is a Jew.

  6. Jonathan: On a more important topic there is something interesting about Jack Smith’s superseding indictment of DJT that was just filed in the DC election interference case.

Smith could have empaneled a new grand jury to hear the charges but he didn’t. He chose to present the case to an existing grand jury empaneled in 2023 (No. 23-8). That grand jury has heard evidence against many of the J. 6 insurrectionists that resulted in hundreds of guilty pleas or convictions.

Another interesting aspect to the superseding indictment is that includes again all the “unindicted co-conspirators” from the original indictment. That includes Rudy Giuliani, John Eastman, Boris Epshtyn and others who conspired with DJT to overturn the 2020 election. That means Smith may soon drop the hammer on them as well.

Now if I were an attorney representing any of the J. 6 “co-conspirators” I would advise my clients to cut a deal. Why? Because now two separate grand juries (about 40 ordinary citizens) have reviewed the same evidence and concluded crimes were committed by DJT and his “loyalists”. Do the latter want to take the fall and go to prison while DJT still walks around as a free man–thanks to the SC “immunity” decision that applies to only one person–DJT?

    1. “the superseding indictment is that includes again all the “unindicted co-conspirators” from the original indictment. “

Another LIE from the pathological LIAR Dennis McInliar.

      Jeffrey Clark was removed.

Dennis cant resist lying like the ignorant stooge that he is.

      1. Davey: You are correct. Jeffrey Clark was removed as “co-conspirator” number 4 in the original indictment. But the superseding indictment contains all 4 of the original counts and but now includes only 5 of the original “co-conspirators” (see pp. 3 and 4 of the superseding indictment). So for clarity I should have stated that “the superseding indictment…includes all the original co-conspirators except for Jeffrey Clark”. But that error does no make me a “pathological LIAR” nor an “ignorant stooge” as you claim!

The main point of my comment is that the 5 co-conspirators could soon also be indicted and they should try to cut a deal with Jack Smith to avoid prosecution. I stand by that part of my comment. You never addressed that issue.

        1. I dont give a rats ass about your main point, Dennis.

Every single time you post, you include at least one lie or ignorant statement.

Get your shit right and stop spreading misinformation, spastic.

I’ll address what I choose to address, 95% of your ignorant rants dont address anything to do with the topic, including this one.

I’m not interested in your “prediction” about your made up “indictment” thats never going to happen. Your predictions are right about 3% of the time.

  7. Jonathan: Do you really think it serves any really useful purpose to continue your feud with Rep. Susan Wild that goes back to 2022 when she called you out in her Commencement address at GWU. That address, which you chose not to attend, focused on your contradictory claims you made at the impeachment hearings of Clinton and DJT.

At the 1998 House Clinton impeachment hearings you testified that Clinton’s WH sexual encounter with Monica and his lying about it were sufficient grounds to impeach the president because “by his own conduct, he has deprived himself of the perceived legitimacy to govern”. In the first impeachment of DJT you took the opposite position–that there was no “perceived legitimacy” problem even though DJT tried to extort the president of Ukraine to influence an election.

You have apparently not forgiven Rep. Wild for her criticism of you in 2022. So you now you attack her for what you claim are contradictory positions re Israel. I don’t see any contradiction. The Biden administration and many members of Congress have defended Israel’s right to defend itself while deploring the senseless slaughter of over 40,000 innocent Palestinians in Gaza–mostly women and children. Those are not contradictory positions. When it comes to taking contradictory positions you are hardly in a position to criticize!

  8. @Edwardmahl

You had the same thought as I: Wild is another Kamala. She shamelessly takes every side of an issue as if she has no principles of her own.

Kamala was originally impeachment insurance and 25th Amendment insurance. Nobody liked her. Now she is suddenly “Hope”. But something odd is happening. The usual leftist liars at NYT and WaPo and the rest are taking potshots at her. Governor Newsom remarked “that is what I was told to say” when asked about the Kamala ascent. Not everyone in the Deep State and its public allies appears to be happy with the hope goddess even now. But who is really calling the shots and how many factions are there?

  9. * Does Wild know professor Turley is a defense attorney/lawyer? Quite shameful of her to display her lack of understanding at a commencement address.

Personal note: I’ll continue to read professor’s articles but can no longer read comments.

    Thank you, Professor Turley

  10. Ms. Wild has created a template for Kamala Harris. Harris can be for the Palestines in Dearborn MI and for the Jews in NYC. She can be opposed to fracking in Pennsylvania, and opposed to fracking in San Francisco. She can favor a border wall in Arizona and be for unhindered entry in Boston. On almost every important current issue, she seems to have opposing positions. Her main problem is how to keep the public from noticing her double conscioussness. Of course, the MSM will do their best to help her pull of this scheme.
